Greg Henry Eliminated in 22nd Place ($25,378)

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Greg Henry
Greg Henry

David Stamm raised to 100,000 from middle position, and Greg Henry shoved for 315,000. Stamm made the call.

Greg Henry: 22 All in
David Stamm: A8

The J46 flop didn't change anything, but the A turn sent Stamm into the lead. Henry had a single out to scoop, but had a few live outs to a chop. The 8 river was not one of them, as he was beaten by Stamm's two pair.

Anthony March Eliminated in 23rd Place ($25,378)

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Anthony March
Anthony March

Anthony March raised from under the gun to 180,000 and Jun Liu re-raised to 825,000, leaving himself with 50,000 behind. March said "call" and was about to flip his cards assuming Liu was all in, when the table stopped him and said "hold your cards, he's not call in".

Before the dealer had the chance to deal the flop, March said "I am all in." and he moved his chips into the middle.

The 10KK flop was dealt and Liu called for his remaining 50,000.

Jun Liu: 1010All in
Anthony March: AQ

Liu had hit a set on the flop, and March didn't improve enough on the 5 turn or Q river. March left the hand with 280,000.

March was in the big blind in the next hand and got his remaining chips in against Carmino Argiero who was sitting under the gun.

Anthony March: 99All in
Carmino Argiero: QQ

The dealer peeled the Q29 flop, and the players gasped at the table, with both players having flopped a set.

March wasn't saved on the 4, J runout and he was eliminated in 23rd place.

Thomas Brownscombe Eliminated in 24th Place ($20,985)

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Thomas Brownscombe had been left short-stacked and ripped in his remaining 235,000 from the hijack. It seemed as though he was going to get the shove through, but Scott Eskenazi woke up with a hand in the big blind, and called.

Thomas Brownscombe: KQ All in
Scott Eskenazi: AK

Brownscombe made a pair, but it was the wrong one on the K610 flop. He received no help from the 3J runout, and was the first to leave following the redraw.

Mole Eliminates Gelman to Bring Around Redraw

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Gary Gelman
Gary Gelman

Gary Gelman was in the big blind and had his stack of around 300,000 in the middle against Joseph Mole in the small blind.

Gary Gelman: K7 All in
Joseph Mole: KK

Gelman needed a lot of help, but it didn't seem to be coming after the 5AA flop. A 3 on the turn did give him a flush draw, but the 4 river bricked off, leaving Gelman out in 25th.

Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

Ramana Epparla raised to 65,000 in the hijack, and Peter Kiem flatted on the cutoff. Matt Glantz then put in a three-bet to 210,000 from the small blind. Big stack Epparla called, and Kiem got out of the way.

On a flop of 7Q6 Glantz opted for a continuation-bet of 175,000. Epparla then cut out a big stack of 25,000 chips, indicating a raise to 450,000,and Glantz reacted by snap-shoving. Epparla made the call, and was way behind.

Matt Glantz: KK All in
Ramana Epparla: Q10

The turn 2 brought in an extra sweat for Glantz. No heart came on the river, but Epparla still sucked out by hitting the 10 as he scooped a massive pot and knocked out his opponent

Lipton Secures the Triple

Chad Lipton
Chad Lipton

Leonardo Fernandez opened from an early position to 50,000 and Chad Lipton was on the button and moved all in for 320,000. Danny Li re-jammed the big blind for around 400,000 and Fernandez called and covered both.

Chad Lipton: AQAll in
Danny Li: 99All in
Leonardo Fernandez: AK

Lipton paired up on the 26Q flop, and held on the 6 turn and 7 river.

Li took the side pot, and Fernandez was knocked down in chips.

Matusow Erupts

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Mike Matusow
Mike Matusow

There was some blind on blind violence as Marc Rivera raised his small blind before Mike Matusow made a three-bet from the big blind. Rivera then four-bet ripped it for just under 500,000. Covering, Matusow made the call.

Marc Rivera: 1010 All in
Mike Matusow: KJ

The QJ2 fired Matusow into the lead, and left Rivera drawing to just a single out, as Matusow covered spades. The turnA kept Rivera drawing slim, however now a set would be futile: he needed a straight to stay alive. The river K gave him exactly that, as Matusow got up from his chair and shouted "One Out!" in disbelief, as the chips got pushed over to Rivera.
