Stamm took down a big pot in the last level, helping him climb in the counts when he won at showdown against Herbert Gelman, having flopped a set of deuces.

David "ODB" Baker opened to 50,000 from the hijack and got a single call from Herbert Gelman in the big blind.
The players saw a 4♦K♣2♠ flop and Gelman checked. Baker bet 40,000 and Gelman made the call.
The A♦ was turned and Gelman checked again. Baker bet 85,000 and Gelman folded, handing pot to Baker.
In the next hand, Baker opened from middle position and Thomas Brownscombe jammed into Baker from the big blind. Baker checked his hand before mucking his cards.

Heads-up to a flop of 7♣2♣9♣, Champie Douglas bet out for 150,000 into a pot of 225,000. Gregory Henry put in the call.
AS the 5♦ peeled off on the turn, Douglas wasted no time in announcing "all in" for a just under pot-sized shove. Henry folded, putting Douglas' stack above the one million mark.

There was some blind on blind violence as Marc Rivera raised his small blind before Mike Matusow made a three-bet from the big blind. Rivera then four-bet ripped it for just under 500,000. Covering, Matusow made the call.
Marc Rivera: 10♥10♣
Mike Matusow: K♠J♣
The Q♠J♠2♠ fired Matusow into the lead, and left Rivera drawing to just a single out, as Matusow covered spades. The turnA♣ kept Rivera drawing slim, however now a set would be futile: he needed a straight to stay alive. The river K♥ gave him exactly that, as Matusow got up from his chair and shouted "One Out!" in disbelief, as the chips got pushed over to Rivera.

Li took the side pot, and Fernandez was knocked down in chips.
