Matthew Schulte

Matthew Schulte was on his last 100,000 and moved in from under the gun. He received a call from the cutoff, Robert Cowen and the big blind, Carlos Leiva. The flop came out with 5J6, and Robert Cowen bet out 240,000 into a dry side pot. Leiva folded, and the cards were tabled.

The turn 8 and the river 4 and Cowen's set of sixes were enough to win the pot and the elimination,

Action picked up on the flop, which was 61010, and Eran Carmi was under the gun and bet out 85,000. Georgios Tsoupras was in the cutoff and raised to 140,000, and Carmi made the call.

On the turn A, both players checked.

The river 4 was a disaster for Carmi as he bet out 425,000, and Tsoupras thought about it for a minute and reraised 2,000,000, which was more than Carmi's stack at 350,000. Carmi called after contemplating.

Georgios Tsoupras: AJ108

Tsoupras held the full house for the win.

One of the other players mentioned, "You are the cooler master."

The action began on the first hand after the dinner break, with Eran Carmi starting a train of three successive all-ins. Frank Brannan was second in the pool, Tsz Shing dove in last. Carmi had more chips than the others.

Tsz Shing: AA93All in
Frank Brannan: KQJ7All in
Eran Carmi: Q10109

The board ran out 6JKA2. None of the threesome had hearts, so Carmi's queen-ten for the Broadway straight took down the hand and sent two players packing.

The remaining 23 players have been sent on a 60-minute dinner break and will return at approximately 7:35 p.m. local time.

James Cheung, the overall chip leader pushed the betting from the start, with a preflop raise to 90,000, a 160,000-chip bet on the flop and 175,000 more on the turn.

Bradley Anderson, seated right next to him in the cutoff was with him each step of the way and in short order.

But when the board paired for the second time on the river 5107510, Anderson paused at the huge bet from Cheung that would put him all in.

After much study and some thinking out loud, Anderson said, "I can't fold." And he didn't, risking his last 595,000 chips.

As soon as Anderson made the call, Cheung announced that he had aces in a defeated tone. Anderson flipped over {kckh10s9c], giving him three tens and a pot that put him back in the tournament.

Alfredo Vega

What started as a limped pot turned into a monster score for Joshua Palmer. James Cheung limped from under the gun, Bradley Anderson limped from early position, Alfredo Vega limped from middle position, and Ernest Essad also limped from the cutoff. Joshua Palmer was having none of that limping and raised to 225,000, and only Vega called.

The flop came out with 8KK, and Vega moved all in for his last 400,000, and Palmer immediately called.

Vega stated, "Aw man, do you have a king?"

Joshua Palmer: K865

Ace-High no Good

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Carlos Leiva raised from under the gun to 105,000, and Dylan Weisman made the call from the big blind.

Immediately, one of the players announced, "Are you kidding me?"

Weisman joked, "I didn't think it was that bad of a call".

The rest of the table stated, "He is watching the hockey game," and they all laughed.

The flop came out with 597, and Weisman took the lead for 90,000, and Leiva flat called.

On the turn 8, Weismann upped the bet to 275,000, and again Leiva called.

The river K had both players check, and Weismann announced ace-high and mucked when he saw Leiva's hand of A764 for a pair of sevens and the win,
