Velador and Tsoupras Chop It

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action went three-ways to a flop of 52Q in a hand between Georgios Tsoupras in the cutoff, Jianqiang Yu on the button, and Julian Velador in the big blind.

With about 200,000 in the middle, Velador moved all in for 105,000 and was called by both of his opponents.

Tsoupras and Yu checked it down as the board ran out 3, 9. Velador tabled Q976 and Tsoupras turned over Q1098 with both of them having two pair, queens and nines. Yu had AA9J.

The flop of AJQ checked through to the 2 turn. Demirel led out for 65,000 and only Leblanc called.

Demirel bet again on the 5 river, this time for 75,000. Leblanc thought for a moment and looked back at his cards before tossing them into the muck.

Vadim Shlez raised to 56,000, and James Cheung called from the big blind. The flop came out with K6J, Cheung checked, and Shlez moved all in for his last 60,000. Cheung made a quick call, stating, "Sixes."

Shlez stated, "Sixes, that is a lot".

Cheung had the best of it with a set of sixes, and the turn 9 and river 10 did not change the outcome of the hand, which sent Shlez to the rail.

The flop came 83K and Brown check-called a bet of 75,000 from Vela.

The turn landed the 9 and Brown check-called again, this time for 200,000.

The 2 river went check-check and Brown tabled the winner with 10975 for the flush.
