Ernest Essad has been rolling all day, building up to a huge mountain of chips. The last bit he gathered from a nasty bluff pulled on Joshua Adcock.
In a hand that bled well into the break, Essad raised preflop. Adcock called. Essad made it 125,000 to go when 3♣Q♦Q♣ flopped. Adcock was again along for the ride.
When the board paired a second time with the 3♥ on the turn, Essad threw 300,000 chips into the pot and again Adcock matched the bet.
When the 10♣ hit on the river, Essad didn't hesitate to move his stack of 500,000 chips into the pot.
Adcoack thought about it for a while, then threw his cards in.
"How good were you?" Adcock asked.
A smiling Essad looked above the rim of his spectacles and showed K♠9♠6♥5♣. The best hand he could make was the his king and nine as kickers for the pair of queens on the board. Ouch.

Gene Grieshaber raised from the button to 40,000, and Carlos Leiva made the call from the big blind. The flop came down with J♣A♠10♥, and Grieshaber threw out a 25,000 chip; Leiva check-called.
Grieshaber joked, "Was that just an extra chip you found?" as Leiva was one of the chip leaders at the table and cashing out everyone's yellow 1,000 chips.
The turn 9♣ was checked by both players.
Leiva took a stab at the river 9♥ for 150,000, and Grieshaber called.
Leiva held A♣J♠9♠Xx and Grieshaber held K♥10♠10♦2♠ for the full boat.

Ernest Essad limped in early position, Russel McClean completed in the small blind, and Dylan Weisman checked in the big blind.
The flop of 7♦A♦3♦ checked through to the Q♦ turn. McClean checked, Weisman bet 30,000, Essad called, and McClean got out of the way.
On the 2♥ river, Weisman announced "pot" and slid out a bet of 140,000. Essad thought for a moment before surrendering his hand.
