Childers With Aces

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Chris Dilts raised to 5,000 from early position, and Lisa Childers repopped it to 21,000 from the hijack. Xavier Pena was in the small blind and went into the think tank for a bit, and finally folded, and Scott Berridge (who is playing his very first World Series of Poker event) also folded from the big blind. Dilts quickly folded as well.

Childers proclaimed, "I was hoping for a call, especially with the news lady here", as she rolled over two black aces.

Breckenridge Breaks Through

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jennifer Breckenridge waited for the opportunity to make a move with a decent stack and it finally came after a flop of 23A. Having decided against a couple tournament-risking calls, she went all-in against Velupillai Kalahmohan.

Jennifer Breckenridge: AKAll in
Velupillai Kalahmohan: AQ

Breckenridge' King separated the two, each of whom had pair of aces on the flop. The turn-river combo 210 brought no change and Breckenridge had found a double for her trouble.

Sasaki Triples

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Seiji Sasaki began the hand flinging in his final 8,500 for an all-in in the cutoff. Christian Hermann called from the button before Mike Pazuki also went all in for 103,000.

Hermann went into an agonized tank and took enough time before someone at the table called the clock. Just as the floorman got to the table, Hermann pitched his cards into the muck, which sent Sasaki and Pazuki into a showdown.

Seiji Sasaki: 96All in
Mike Pazuki: AJ

Pazuki held the lead going into the runout, but Sasaki binked a pair on the 1010xQ62 runout to triple up.

Kelley Sends Khakban to the Rail

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The chips went in the middle when Michael Kelley and Rahman Khakban decided to play for it all. Khakban was at risk for 21,000.

Rahman Khakban: AQAll in
Michael Kelley: JJ

It was a classic race of a pair versus overcards and this time the pair won as the board fanned out 351043 to eliminate Khakban.

Matthias Eibinger x Brandon Steven
Matthias Eibinger x Brandon Steven

The $250,000 Super High Roller — the biggest buy-in on the 2025 World Series of Poker schedule — got underway Sunday at noon inside Paris Las Vegas. And it didn’t take long for fireworks.

Austrian high-stakes crusher Matthias Eibinger, who has more than $24 million in live earnings according to The Hendon Mob, attempted an ambitious seven-high bluff with a 15% pot shove on businessman Brandon Steven. But did the gutsy move pay off?

Song Sends Ward Out

Level 10 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jared Ward began the hand with a raise to 4,000 from middle position before Daewoong Song announced all in from late position. Ward obliged and pushed in his final 40,500 to the middle to put himself at risk for his tournament life.

Jared Ward: AJAll in
Daewoong Song: AQ

Ward was in rough shape against the better ace, but the 1078 flop gave Ward additional outs to a straight. However, the 3 turn and the 8 river failed to produce any of the cards he needed to send him out of the tournament.
