The hand began with a raise by Benedict Cullen to 400,000 from early position. Cullen was called by Jonathan Sparks from the cutoff, and Alexander Savchenko called from the big blind.

The flop fanned out Q♥A♦7♥, which led to a round of checks from all three players.

Savchenko fired 255,000 on the 5♠ turn, which led to a fold from Cullen. Sparks called to take them to a river.

The 3♥ river saw a bet of 410,000 from Savchenko. Sparks took some time to weigh his decision before he called. Savchenko threw his hand into the muck as he conceded the hand. Sparks dragged in the chips and did not show his hand.

Action picked up on the river in a hand between Charles Kersey who was under the gun and Anshul Kulshrestha in the big blind.

With about 700,000 in the middle and the board reading 10♥6♦J♦5♠6♥, Kulshrestha moved all in for 655,000 to put himself at risk.

Kersey thought for a moment before making the call with A♠Q♥ only to see the bad news when Kulshrestha turned over A♣A♦.
