Suvarna Falls to Foxen

Playing six-handed, Alex Foxen raised to 80,000 under the gun before Santhosh Suvarna jammed from the button for 700,000. Foxen got a count from the dealer before making the call, while saying "loose call".

Suvarna found himself in a flip for his tournament life. Unfortunately for Suvarna, the board ran out 9♦4♥3♥Q♥5♣ to give Foxen the winner with a pair of queens. The pot was sent to Foxen, and Suvarna was out.

Kabrhel Comes with Fair Warning

Martin Kabrhel raised it up from under the gun and Jonathan Jaffe defended from the big blind.

"Now be careful, Jonathan," Kabrhel started with some table talk. "I don't want to bust you. I have other targets at the table."

The flop came J♦6♦5♦ and Kabrhel continued with a min-bet of 40,000. Jaffe did anything but be careful with a check-raise to 130,000. Kabrhel just called and the 2♣ landed on the turn.

Jaffe checked again and Kabrhel announced a bet of 140,000. Jaffe check-raised to 520,000 and Kabrhel just called once again. A fourth diamond peeled off on the A♦ river and both players checked. Jaffe tabled A♣2♦ for a baby flush but Kabrhel whipped over 10♦9♦ for a better flopped flush.

"Lucky river," Kabrhel continued. "Why did you have to put diamond on the river?" he questioned the dealer.

Theologis Sniffs Out Haxton's Bluff

Isaac Haxton made it 80,000 under the gun and Alexandros Theologis defended his big blind.

Two checks followed the 6♥2♣10♦ flop to see the 10♣ hit the turn. Theologis checked and Haxton bet 100,000. Theologis called.

Theologis checked for the last time on the K♦ river. Haxton bet 330,000, which Theologis called. Haxton showed a bluff with Q♠J♣, and lost the pot to Theologis, who revealed 9♠6♠ for a pair of sixes.

Matthias Eibinger opened to 80,000 from under the gun before Alex Foxen three-bet to 240,000 from the hijack. With the action back on Eibinger, he jammed for 1,290,000 and Foxen snapped it off.

Foxen was in great shape to score a knockout with the dominating ace on the 10♠7♠3♥ flop. The two swapped outs on the J♦ turn before the 6♥ river completed the board, and Foxen's ace-king high was good to send Eibinger to the rail.

Ponakovs checked the 8♣J♥7♦ flop, and Sturm fired a continuation-bet of 75,000. Ponakovs called.

After Ponakovs checked the 7♠ turn, Sturm jammed for 420,000. Ponakovs instantly folded and Sturm won a much-needed pot.

Boivin Makes Queen-High Work

Thomas Boivin raised to 85,000 in the cutoff and Isaac Haxton called from the small blind. The flop came 9♠7♥2♥ and Haxton check-called a bet of 160,000 from Boivin.

The turn was the K♠ and Haxton checked again. Boivin tossed in a bet of 300,000 and Haxton used a time bank before calling again. The K♦ paired the board on the river and both players knuckled the table. Haxton showed J♥10♠ for a missed straight draw while Boivin collected the pot with Q♠8♥ for just queen-high.

Foxen Pays Off Decarolis

Alfred Decarolis limped from under the gun. The action folded all the way to Kristen Foxen in the big blind who checked.

The 10♥8♦5♣ flop checked through to the 8♣ turn which saw Foxen lead for 75,000. Decarolis put in the call after some deliberation.

Foxen slowed down with a check on the J♦ river before Decarolis instantly tossed out a bet of 250,000. Foxen did not take long before she put in the call and got the bad news as Decarolis showed Q♦J♠ for a rivered top pair to leave Foxen short.

The flop of Q♣8♥5♣ checked through and so did the 9♠ turn. Foxen and Suvarna checked again on the 10♦ river and Eibinger bet 200,000. Foxen called and Suvarna folded.

Eibinger showed A♠2♠ for ace-high, but it was no good against the top pair of Foxen with Q♦2♦.

Chidwick checked the 7♠3♣6♥ flop, and Kulev bet 165,000. Chidwick carved out the call.

Chidwick led out for 85,000 upon seeing the 4♠ appear on the turn. Kulev called.

A few moments after the 9♣ river, Chidwick overbet for 1,100,000. Kulev mulled it over for roughly thirty seconds before opting to fold, and surrender the pot to Chidwick.
