Adrian Mateos opened to 100,000 in the hijack before Jeremy Ausmus three-bet to 305,000 from the cutoff. With the action on Brandon Steven in the small blind, he used a time extension before he announced all-in for 1,450,000. Mateos quickly folded and Ausmus called with a grimace.

Sean Perry raised it up from early position and Santhosh Suvarna shoved all in for 345,000 on the button. Adrian Mateos just flat-called in the big blind and Perry came along as well.

The flop came K♠6♣5♣ and both players checked to the 7♣ on the turn. Mateos led out with a bet of 250,000 and Perry called to create a side pot. The 5♠ paired the board on the river and Mateos led out with another bet of 225,000. Perry folded this time and Mateos was awarded the side pot.

Mateos turned over A♣K♣ for a flush while Suvarna was left with K♦Q♠. Mateos was also shipped the main pot and the defending champion was eliminated for the second time this year.

Chidwick Leaves Mullur on Fumes

On the Q♣10♥2♣ flop, Mullur continued for 85,000 before Chidwick check-raised to 180,000. Mullur then three-bet to 410,000, and Chidwick called.

The turn brought the 3♣. Chidwick checked to Mullur who bet 255,000, and Chidwick called.

On the 4♠ river, Chidwick checked once again to Mullur who jammed for 590,000 effective as the slightly covering stack, and Chidwick called all-in.

The turn came the A♦ and Brewer check-called another bet from Wisbrod, this time for 200,000.

Brewer's remaining 860,000 got into the middle on the 5♣ river and the cards were revealed. Brewer had rivered a straight with A♥4♠, beating the flopped set of Wisbrod with 7♣7♥.

Upon seeing the 5♥ appear on the turn, Boivin led out for 110,000. Tollerene carved out the call.

Boivin didn't slow down on the 10♠ river, as he bet 330,000. Tollerene folded, and Boivin added to his stack.
