Petrangelo Has Kicker Problems

Alex Foxen made it 240,000 from the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo defended his big blind.

Petrangelo checked the 9♠J♣J♥ flop, and Foxen bet 180,000. Petrangelo check-raised to 525,000, which Foxen called.

The Q♥ appeared on the turn and both players checked to see the 6♦ land on the river. Petrangelo bet 450,000, and Foxen quickly called.

Petrangelo showed Q♣3♣ for a pair of queens, but was outkicked by Foxen's Q♠10♣.

Peters Continues the Comeback

David Peters just got moved to a new table and Martin Kabrhel was equally surprised and impressed with his comeback thus far.

"How much were you down to earlier, David?" Kabrhel questioned.

"150," Peters replied.

"I think it was 145," Kabrhel quipped back. "Don't bluff me, please."

Peters quickly opened to 240,000 from under the gun and Bryn Kenney three-bet to 630,000 on the button. Peters responded with a four-bet to 1,130,000 and Kenney folded.

On the next hand, Christoph Vogelsang raised to 260,000 in the hijack and Andrew Lichtenberger called on the button. Peters three-bet to 1,040,000 from the big blind and got both Vogelsang and Lichtenberger to fold again.

Mateos Pays Off Tollerene

Ben Tollerene opened to 270,000 in middle position and Adrian Mateos called in the big blind.

Mateos checked on the flop of 5♠4♠9♦ and Tollerene continued for 175,000. Mateos called. Mateos check-called again on the 2♥ turn as Tollerene sized up to 650,000.

Mateos checked once more on the 5♥ river and Tollerene moved all in. Mateos went deep into the tank and used six time banks before calling off with around 1,600,000.

Tollerene showed K♥K♦ to win the pot, while Mateos was forced to show A♠4♥ before hitting the rail.

Both players checked the 8♥ turn and the K♥ river. Tollerene revealed 5♠4♦ for second pair on the flop, and Ding mucked.

Picking up the action at the feature table on a completed board of A♠9♦2♦6♣3♠, Ben Tollerene and Joao Vieira were heads-up in the blinds with around 3,100,000 in the middle already.

Tollerene used one of his time banks and then shoved all in, putting Vieira to the test for his remaining stack of 2,100,000. Vieira used two time banks of his own but decided to lay his hand down.

On the K♣9♦8♦ flop, Davies continued for a healthy size of 450,000 and Petrangelo put in the call.

The A♦ turn checked through to the 5♣ river which saw Davies check again. Petrangelo put together a bet of 1,250,000 and slid it forward, and Davies instantly called. Petrangelo mucked as Davies showed K♦9♣ for two pair to drag a sizeable pot and leave Petrangelo on a short stack.
