Lepovic Comes From Behind to Double Through Boloqui

Carlson Jams Into Boloqui

Dennis Carlson raised to 2,000,000 from the small blind with the K♣3♣ and Jose Boloqui defended the 10♦4♦ in the big blind.

Following the Q♠9♦5♦ flop, Carlson continued for 3,500,000 and Boloqui called. The 8♣ came on the turn and Carlson simply pushed all in for 21,775,000 with just king-high.

Boloqui had a decision to make with his gutshot and flush draw for most of his stack, eventually laying down his hand.

Lim Gets Boloqui To Fold the Superior Hand

The action folded to Jose Boloqui in the small blind and he raised to 2,500,000 with the J♠J♥, earning a call from Brett Lim with the Q♠9♦. The 9♣8♦5♦ flop saw Boloqui with a check and Lim bet 3,000,000. Without any hesitation whatsoever, Boloqui check-raised to 8,500,000, and Lim tossed in the extra chips for the call.

After the A♠ turn, Boloqui checked the second street in a row and Lim pondered about his next move, glancing several times at the board and his opponent. Lim then bet 9,000,000 and Boloqui instantly grabbed some possible calling chips while blowing out some air. However, he went deep into the tank and even tried to start some table chat without getting any reply or reaction of Lim, who was staring away from him.

"Sorry guys, I have a big hand," Boloqui apologised to the table after all his previous questions to Lim were left unanswered. He folded shortly after and Lim raked in the pot to extend his lead.

"Good fold?" Boloqui asked and Lim replied "I don't know, for you or for me? I might still hit the winning hand," the reply came thereafter.

Lim Hits Quads Deuces Again

Brett Lim opened to 3,000,000 first to act with the A♣10♥ and Jose Boloqui defended his big blind holding the K♠J♣. Both players checked the Q♦9♣3♥ flop and Boloqui then led the Q♣ turn for 6,000,000 with his gutshot straight draw. Lim mulled it over for a short while and folded the best hand.

In the next hand, Boloqui in the small blind opened to 3,500,000 with the 10♠9♦ and Lim let go of J♠9♥. Lim limped his next small blind but folded when Elan Lepovic jammed with the K♠5♥.

Up next, Lim opted to limp the button with the 2♠2♥ and Dennis Carlson checked his option with the K♥4♠ in the big blind. Earlier today, Lim had hit quads deuces and did so again until the 9♥5♠2♣2♦ turn with both players checking to the 10♦ river. Carlson now bet 2,500,000 and Lim then raised to 8,000,000, instantly winning the pot without any resistance whatsoever.

Lepovic in the Danger Zone

Jose Boloqui raised top 3,000,000 on the button with the A♠4♥ and Brett Lim folded in the big blind. Elan Lepovic let go of the Q♣6♥ in the big blind and dropped to six and a half blinds after the hand.

Lepovic then jammed the last 6,400,000 with the K♦5♣ and Dennis Carlson in the big blind asked for a count holding the Q♣2♦. No call followed and Lepovic survived to fight another day.

Very few of the recent hands had even seen the flop with Lepovic as the shortest stack among the final four.

Carlson Shoves to Make Everybody Fold

On a flop of 2♣6♣3♥ with 13,000,000 in the pot, Jose Boloqui and Brett Lim in the blinds checked, then Dennis Carlson on the button moved all in for 25,275,000.

Boloqui folded A♥Q♥, but Lim went deep into tank. He asked for the count and struggled to make a decision for several minutes.

He eventually folded 9♥9♦ and allowed Carlson to scoop the pot with Q♦Q♣.

Boloqui Barrels His Way to a Straight

Jose Boloqui opened to 2,500,000 on the button with the 7♥6♠ and was called only by Elan Lepovic in the big blind with the J♥8♦. The flop came J♣10♣9♦ and Lepovic check-called for 3,000,000. That was followed by the 5♠ turn on which Boloqui fired another bet of 4,500,000 when checked to, earning another call from Lepovic.

That led to the 8♥ on the river on which Boloqui spiked the bottom end of the straight. Lepovic checked and Boloqui bet 8,400,000 to send Lepovic into the tank with his two pair. While contemplating his next move, Lepovic asked the dealer to spread the pot, and eventually called.

Boloqui showed his straight and then vaulted out of his chair with a loud "vamooo" before stacking up the chips, while Lepovic was left visibly flustered.

Lim Chips Up With Trips

The 6♣ river was checked by Boloqui and Lim bet 4,000,000 to take down the pot uncontested.
