Lepovic Continues to Chip Up

Level 37 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante

Brett Lim limped the J9 and Elan Lepovic checked back the A10. On the K104 flop, Lim bet 1,000,000 with his gutshot and Lepovic called.

Both checked the J turn and Lim also checked the Q on the river. Lepovic then bet 2,000,000 and Lim reluctantly called, already placing the chips close to his opponent and expecting the bad news that came moments later.

Jose Boloqui raised to 1,700,000 with the A5 on the button and was called by Elan Lepovic in the big blind holding the 76. The 888 flop saw Lepovic check, Boloqui bet 3,000,000, and that won the pot right there.

Boloqui then opened to 1,700,000 in the next hand and Brett Lim three-bet the button to 5,500,000 with KQ to shut down his table neighbor.

Lepovic raised the next button to 1,600,000 with AJ and Boloqui was the one to defend with the 86 from the big blind. They headed to the AA6 flop on which Boloqui checked and Lepovic bet 1,000,000. Almost instantly, Boloqui grabbed into his stack and then check-raised to 3,200,000, which Lepovic called.

Boloqui checked the 9 on the turn and Lepovic bet 5,000,000 for more than one third of his stack to claim the pot without any further resistance.
