Rodriguez Sending Shells

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Noel Rodriguez raised to 30,000 from under the gun; and was called by both Wagner Wysotchanski from his immediate left, and Christopher Demaci from the big blind.

Three ways to a flop of K83 where Demaci checked, Rodriguez bet 40,000, and both players called.

A 5 peeled off on the turn, and after another Demaci check, Rodriguez announced all-in for his remaining 200,000 chips. After quite a bit of deliberation, Wysotchanski elected to fold his hand, and Demaci did the same.

Schwartz Doubles Through Furth

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Noah Schwartz was seen doubling through Caleb Furth on a final board that read A2K9J.

Schwartz had a set of kings laid out in front of him with the KKJ10, and Furth's hand was in the muck.

This marks a significant momentum shift between the two players, as Schwartz was about thirty big blinds deep to start the hand.

Matusow is Running Pure

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Mike Matusow got his chips all in preflop against the covering stack of Jim Butler.

Jim Butler: AQ109
Mike Matusow: AA94 All in

The board ran out 5K5107 and Butler congratulated Matusow on a nice hand.

Matusow expressed amusement at the low price of $3 that he went for in the 25K Fantasy Draft, ultimately ending up on Daniel Negreanu's team. Perhaps this is exactly the motivation and confidence Matusow needs to make some deep runs this WSOP.

Kabrhel Building

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action folded to Fabian Riebauschmithals in the hijack who raised to 42,000. Martin Kabrhel bumped it up to 143,000, and Riebauschmithals made the call.

On a flop of 885, Riebauschmithals checked, and Kabrhel bet 44,000. Riebauschmithals made the call.

The Q turn was followed by an all-in of 111,000 from Kabrhel after Riebauschmithals checked. After some deliberation, Riebauschmithals released.

Beck Busts Shoreman

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Matthew Beck
Matthew Beck

Jon Shoreman opened to 35,000 from the cutoff. Matthew Beck sat in wait from the small blind, and when it folded to him, he made it 80,000 to go. Shoreman was ready to play for it all raising to 140,000, and risking his tournament life. Beck quickly called.

Jon Shoreman: AA84All in
Matthew Beck: QQ83

Unfortunately for Shoreman, Beck smashed the flop of Q107.

A 4 turn followed by a 5 river sealed his fate for Shoreman, and he was headed to the rail.
