It's time for Day 2 of Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP), hosted at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
Four Day 1 starting flights produced a staggering 11,996 competitors. Of those, 2,618 endured and are now set to battle for at least a million-dollar prize. The $1,500 buy-in generated a whopping $15,924,690 prize pool, and the remaining players will be in pursuit of a WSOP gold bracelet and a first-place prize of $1,255,180.
Former Champions Daniel Lazrus 264,000 and Franco Spitale 183,500 return to Day 2 with healthy stacks and unfinished business. Both have already etched their names in Millionaire Maker history, and now, they’re eyeing an encore. There's a third WSOP Champion still in the mix who knows how to navigate large fields and is no stranger to million-dollar scores, 2006 Main Event Champion Jamie Gold enters Day 2 with (276,500) and will be looking to add another gold bracelet to his collection.
All players will be chasing Ilija Savevski, who enters Day 2 with 979,000 chips and the overall lead. Robert Fluereci is second with 900,000 chips.

Day 2 is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. at Level 12 (blinds 1,000/2,500, ante 2,500) and will play 10 levels with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 17 (around 5:30 p.m.).
