Just 44 Players Return to Day 4 of $1,500 Millionaire Maker

Jacques Ortega

Just 44 players will return to Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas, today to play the penultimate day of Event #53: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 World Series of Poker.

Kaifan Wang is the one to watch, as he leads the field starting out Day 4. Brazil's Jacques Ortega is close behind in second place on the leaderboard. Orgeta is no stranger to the WSOP and his current biggest score was just last year when he finished 180th in the Main Event and cashed for $60,000.

Spain's Alejandro Ganivet and Ignacio Moron follow in their footsteps as they bagged within the top five. Ganivet has already seen success this summer and secured his biggest live cash ($33,282) in Event #49: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed just last week. He has already smashed his own record and secured a minimum $40,580 payout in this event, more than doubling his total reported live tournament earnings.

Dominic Brugno raised to 500,000 in early position and Pablo Melogno three-bet to 1,375,000 in the cutoff. Brugno tanked a minute and shoved for 7,025,000, which was snap-called by Melogno:

Dominic Brugno: AK All in
Pablo Melogno: KK

Brugno was in terrible shape for his tournament's life but managed to hit a board 10JA104 to get a big double.

Reichard Doubles with Rivered Straight

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Yuan Yu opened to 500,000 under the gun and was called by Kaifan Wang on the button. Joshua Reichard had other plans and shoved all in for around 5,000,000, sending Yu to the tank. After a few moments, Yu called, and Wang folded, getting out of the way of showdown.

Joshua Reichard: KQ All in
Yuan Yu: JJ

Already in the lead, Yu's hand improved to a set when the flop fell A7J. Reichard still had hope of turning things as he also caught himself a gutshot straight draw. The turn 5 didn't change anything, but the river 10 completed Reichard's straight, evoking an invective from Yu.

Frustrated, Yu stood up, absolutely shocked with the suck-out as the dealer pushed the pot towards Reichard, leaving Yu with only 100,000 behind.
