Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Bixi Yao raised under the gun for 2,450,000, with only 100,000 behind, and Javier Swett shoved for around 4,400,000. Karl Pineault called all in for his last 1,350,000 and Yao sent her last chip in the middle to create a three-way showdown:

Javier Swett: AK

The dealer fanned a board 54Q34 and Pineault's hand held to triple up while Swett took down the side pot, eliminating Yao.

Pham Eliminates Zizka with a Full House

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka opened to 1,100,000 in hijack and Trung Pham in the small blind raised to 2,100,000, effectively putting Zizka all in. Zizka pushed his remaining 1,000,000 for a call, putting his tournament life on the line and taking both of them to showdown.

Zdenek Zizka: A8 All in
Trung Pham: AA

Zizka sat quietly as he watched the dealer peel the 473 flop. Pham pushed further ahead when the A turn dropped for a set. Just to give Zizka the coup de grâce, the 7 river fell giving Pham a full house.

Ortega Sends Smajd Home on the River

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Jacques Ortega
Jacques Ortega

Players were still stalling on the pay jump. Jacques Ortega three-bet to 1,850,000 after there was a 975,000 open. Anze Smajd was in the small blind and moved in the majority of his 4,500,000 stack, leaving just 750,000 behind. Action folded back around to Ortega and he moved all in. Smajd made the call.

Anze Smajd: KKAll in
Jacques Ortega: JJ

It was looking likely that Smajd would double after he held on the 683 flop, and Q turn.

The tables turned, however, as the dealer placed the J river, giving Ortega a set of jacks, busting Smajd.

Yu Defeated with Another Suck-Out

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Yuan Yu open-jammed his remaining 950,000 under the gun and got one caller in Bruno Fuentes in the hijack. Action folded around, leaving the two players to head to showdown.

Yuan Yu: A10 All in
Bruno Fuentes: QJ

Despite being ahead, Yu looked resigned to whatever the board may bring. The dealer displayed 2910, strengthening Yu's lead with a pair. However, Fuentes caught an open-ended straight draw. The turn 6 didn't change anything, but Fuentes completed his straight on the K river, taking the lead.

Yu looking defeated, being outdrawn once again, let out a heavy sigh and bid everyone good luck as he left the table.
