Zizka Passes to Fuentes

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Zdenek Zizka opened to 500,000 on the button and Bruno Fuentes defended the big blind.

The 43A flop saw Fuentes check-call Zizka's 275,000 bet.

The J was turned and Fuentes checked. Zizka bet 575,000 and Fuentes called.

Both players checked down the A river and Fuentes showed K5, which was enough to make Zizka muck his hand.

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Kenny Sung opened to 600,000 under the gun and got called by Anze Smajd in the big blind to see a flop.

The dealer fanned out 78A. After a check, Sung fired another 700,000 which Smajd called again.

On the turn 3, after action was passed to him for a second time, Sung kept the pressure with a 1,500,000 bet which was enough to make Smajd fold.

Dominic Brugno
Dominic Brugno

Dominic Brugno raised to 500,000 in early position and Pablo Melogno three-bet to 1,375,000 in the cutoff. Brugno tanked a minute and shoved for 7,025,000, which was snap-called by Melogno:

Dominic Brugno: AK All in
Pablo Melogno: KK

Brugno was in terrible shape for his tournament's life but managed to hit a board 10JA104 to get a big double.

Reichard Doubles with Rivered Straight

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Josh Reichard
Josh Reichard

Yuan Yu opened to 500,000 under the gun and was called by Kaifan Wang on the button. Joshua Reichard had other plans and shoved all in for around 5,000,000, sending Yu to the tank. After a few moments, Yu called, and Wang folded, getting out of the way of showdown.

Joshua Reichard: KQ All in
Yuan Yu: JJ

Already in the lead, Yu's hand improved to a set when the flop fell A7J. Reichard still had hope of turning things as he also caught himself a gutshot straight draw. The turn 5 didn't change anything, but the river 10 completed Reichard's straight, evoking an invective from Yu.

Frustrated, Yu stood up, absolutely shocked with the suck-out as the dealer pushed the pot towards Reichard, leaving Yu with only 100,000 behind.

Fuentes Takes Control

Level 32 : Blinds 100,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Bruno Fuentes
Bruno Fuentes

Mark Wagstaff opened to 600,000 in middle position and got a three-bet to 1,700,000 from Bruno Fuentes in hijack. Wagstaff thought about his options before making the call to see the flop.

The flop came JK2. After action was passed, Fuentes kept the heat up with a 950,000 bet. Wagstaff, once again, mulled over the situation before making the call.

The turn 2 made Wagstaff take some time to think of his next move but decided to check once again. Cranking up the heat, Fuentes fired 1,200,000 into the pot which was enough to make Wagstaff fold.
