Action folded to Ignacio Sagra in the small blind, who moved all in for 6,300,000. Srivinay Irrinki took a moment to confirm the bet amount, but once he had it, he made the call to put Sagra at risk.

Sagra was already ahead, but there were no complaints when he saw a A♦J♣A♣ flop, improving him to three-of-a-kind.

The turn J♠ set the stage for what would have been one of the sickest run outs of all time, but the 9♦ laid rest to that, and Sagra pulled in the pot, shooting up the leaderboard.

In the 30th episode, Connor talks with 2024 WSOP Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo about growing up in Humble, Texas, studying hotel management at Cornell University, graduating during the 2008 recession, running deep in the 2009 and 2015 Main Events, his friendship with fellow Main Event champion Joe McKeehen, winning the biggest-ever WSOP Main Event for $10 million, and his first purchase as world champion.

Tamayo also spoke about his infamous fold with pocket queens late in the 2024 Main Event, which he says cost him $120,000 in equity, and gave his thoughts on new rules implemented at the 2025 WSOP in the wake of "LaptopGate," as well as the Main Event structure and Phil Hellmuth's proposed boycott that he has since rescinded.

Each player took turns stealing the blinds and then Srivinay Irrinki opened to 2,000,000 from under the gun. Ignacio Sagra shoved for 2,400,000 from the big blind, and Irrinki called.

Srivinay Irrinki: A♣4♠

Irrinki had the best of it preflop and stayed ahead through the 10♥6♠6♣ flop. However, a 7♠ on the turn gave Sagra a pair and hope of survival. Irrinki needed an ace on the river, but the 8♥ wasn't it, meaning Sagra doubled up.

Action folded to start of day chip leader Joseph Roh on the button, who raised to 2,100,000. The small blind got out of the way, but Sebastiaan de Jonge chose to respond with aggression, moving all in, covering Roh's stack of 12,100,000.

Roh snap-called, and the players revealed their cards.

Sebastiaan de Jonge: A♦10♥

Roh was in the dire position of being all-in at risk and dominated.

The board offered no help, running out 3♠J♥K♣A♣6♥. Whilst both players had improved to top pair, de Jonge's kicker saw him take the pot, sending Roh to the exit in the process.

Maskill was fortunate to find himself in a flip, but whiffed the flop of 7♣9♠K♥. A Q♥ on the turn did give Maskill a lot more outs as he picked up both flush and straight draws, but missed everything when the 9♦ hit the river, ending his run in sixth.

The table didn't see many flops in the previous orbit, with players' stack sizes dictating the playing style.

Sebastiaan de Jonge moved all in twice, receiving no action from any of the other players.

Next, it was Ignacio Sagra's turn to commit his whole stack, holding A♦Q♣, but once again, receiving no action.

The following hand, Hakeem Mashal took his turn to move his chips into the middle with A♥Q♥, but once again, the rest of the table folded and he added the blinds to his stack.

Finally, in this orbit, Mashal moved all in again, this time holding A♦8♦, raking in the blinds when everybody folded.
