In a heads-up pot on a board of 2J5, Ali Eslami checked in middle position and Christian Roberts bet on the button. Eslami called.

Eslami checked again on the 8 turn and Roberts bet 200,000. Eslami called. Eslami then led out for 350,000 on the K river and Roberts called, only to muck as Eslami showed 97 for a flush.

As the hand played out, the rest of the table was engaged in a discussion about variance, leading Jeremy Ausmus to reveal that his biggest downswing has been 70 buy-ins.

"I had a million-dollar downswing," Matusow told the table. "And I was playing $10ks."

"How is your biggest downswing 70 buy-ins?" an incredulous Brewer asked Ausmus.

"I had a million-dollar downswing," Matusow repeated.

The A42 flop checked through to the 2 turn. Monnette checked, prompting Mizrachi to fire out 15,000. Only Lindgren and Miki called.

Mizrachi slowed down with a check on the 5 river. Lindgren fired out 55,000 with Miki quickly making it 125,000. Mizrachi folded ahead of Lindgren quickly calling.

Miki tabled 55 for a rivered full house to take the pot.
