Hellmuth Erupts

Level 16

Phil Hellmuth

Limit Hold'em

Phil Hellmuth lost a Limit Hold'em pot against Justin Liberto and proceeded to go off on his opponent.

"Ten-five, nice f***ing call. I'm never calling in a million years. I came to win. But you won the max! Congratulations. You came into the day ... firing every hand ... These idiots just give their money away. It's so frustrating."

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

After switching games, Hellmuth raised to 30,000 on the button and a new enemy, Albert Daher, raised to 180,000. Hellmuth called. Daher stood pat and Hellmuth drew one.

Both players then checked and Daher showed Jx10x8x7x5x to beat out the 8x8x7x4x3x of Hellmuth, who was left with crumbs and exploded into another tirade.

"180 with jack-ten," Hellmuth said as he took a lap. "180 with jack-ten. One f***ing eighty with jack-ten. Jesus f***ing Christ."

The Poker Brat wasn't done.

"I know I'm rich and famous. I have all the money. But what the f*** are these f***ing cards? What the f***. These f***ing players, I mean they've f***ed up so many hands I've just sat here and shut my mouth. Wow!"

"Dead, back from the dead, dead, back from the dead," Matusow reeled off, commenting on Kyte's swingy session.
