Level 27 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Killian Desnos
Killian Desnos

Killian Desnos did plenty to entertain yesterday, and he continued in a similar style today in his third-round match versus Chance Kornuth.

With chips already flying and stacks swinging, Kornuth raised the button to 8,000 before Desnos three-bet to 19,000.

Kornuth called, and Desnos was happy enough with the 2J7 flop, as he moved all in for his remaining stack, roughly 150,000. Kornuth called, and Desnos was at risk.

Killian Desnos: K2 All in
Chance Kornuth: 97

Desnos needed help, but the deck did not cooperate as the board ran out 7J, giving Kornuth sevens-full, the pot, and passage to the next round.

Kevin Rabichow

Artur Martirosian limped on the button, then called Kevin Rabichow's 15,000 raise from the big blind.

The board came out A94, and Rabichow bet out for 31,000. Martirosian decided to call and see a turn.

The turn brought the 2 and now Rabichow fired out 37,000. Maritrosian once again called.

The river came the J, which made Rabichow pause. He eventually checked, and Maritrosian bet enough to put Rabichow all in. He eventually folded, and was left with just fumes.

A few hands later, the two players got all in and Rabichow was eliminated.

Michael Shi
Michael Shi

Mike Shi raised on the button to 40,000 and Patrick Leonard reraised to 105,000 from the big blind. Shi called.

The flop came 932 and Leonard continued for 45,000. Shi once again made the call.

The K turn saw Leonard bet again, this time 60,000. Shi stuck around and the two went off to the river.

The A fell on the river and Leonard bet 100,000. Shi called pretty quickly. Leonard revealed KJ and that had Shi's K7 outkicked.

The dealer counted down Shi's stack and he was left with just 7,000 chips. "No offense to you, but if I don't win now I'm never playing poker again", Leonard declared.

Shi was forced all in from the big blind in the very next hand.

Leonard: 105
Shi: Q7 All in

The board ran out with the 1043KA and we don't have to hold Patrick Leonard to that declaration.
