Leonard Raises the River Big

Mike Shi raised to 25,000 on the button and Patrick Leonard defended the big blind.

The two players checked on the K♣5♥6♠ and also checked on the A♦ turn.

Then the river came the 3♠ and things started to get spicy. Leonard checked, and Shi went for a bet of 32,000. Leonard thought for a moment before stacking together a huge pile of green 25,000 chips. Shi didn't wait for the dealer to count the amount before releasing his hand and giving Leonard the pot.

Chen continued his aggression on the J♣ river, betting to the tune of 90,000. Eychenne did not take long to look him up.

Chen revealed Q♥8♦ for queen high.

The 2♥ turn was met with a check from Castro before Boika slid out 35,000. Castro came along with a call.

Castro checked the 5♦ river, and Boika responded with a large bet of 100,000. Castro did not take long to call, leading to a showdown.

The turn was the K♠ and Kornuth announced a bet of 155,000. Martirosian still called and the 3♥ paired the board on the river. Kornuth unleashed a third bullet of 405,000 which sent Martirosian in the tank before making the call. Kornuth turned over K♣8♣ and Martirosian was unable to beat it.

Chen Wins Huge Pot Early on

David Chen limped on the button and Thomas Eychenne raised from the big blind to 30,000. Chen called and the two were off to a flop.

The flop came J♠9♥3♥ and Eychenne fired 45k, and was met with a call from Chen.

The Q♦ on the turn didn't slow Eychenne down, as he now bet 225k. Chen once again called.

The river brought the 9♦ and Eychenne fired a third barrel after playing a time bank card, this time for 400k. Chen didn't think too long before calling. Eychenne turned over the Q♥J♥ for top-two pair but it was no good against Chen's K♣10♥ which turned the nut straight.
