Boika Lands a Punch with Quads

Level 37 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Harvey Castro opened to 15,000 on the button and Aliaksei Boika just called from the big blind. The flop fell 772 and Boika check-called a bet of 8,000 from Castro.

The turn brought the 6 and Boika checked again. Castro sized up a bet of 60,000 this time and Boika still called. The river was the 8 and Boika checked for the third time. Castro reached for some chips but then used a time bank before checking back.

Thankfully, he did as Boika turned over 77 for quads to claim the pot.
