Boika Lands a Punch with Quads

Harvey Castro opened to 15,000 on the button and Aliaksei Boika just called from the big blind. The flop fell 772 and Boika check-called a bet of 8,000 from Castro.

The turn brought the 6 and Boika checked again. Castro sized up a bet of 60,000 this time and Boika still called. The river was the 8 and Boika checked for the third time. Castro reached for some chips but then used a time bank before checking back.

Thankfully, he did as Boika turned over 77 for quads to claim the pot.

Artur Martirosian began the hand with a raise to 15,000 and was called by Chance Kornuth.

Kornuth checked to Martirosian on the 5A4 flop. Martirosian slid out 10,000 which was called by Kornuth.

The A turn led to a check from Kornuth leading to a bet of 65,000 from Martirosian. Kornuth once again called to head to the river.

The A river froze the action as both players checked.

Kornuth showed Q2 for queen high, but Martirosian flipped over 44 for a full house to take the pot.

Aliaksei Boika raised to 12,000 on the button and Harvey Castro called from the big blind. The flop came 742 and Castro started with a check.

Boika continued with a bet of 16,000 and Castro check-raised to 50,000. Boika wasted little time before dumping his cards to the muck and Castro collected the pot.

David Chen raised to 50,000 on the button and Richard Green defended from the big blind. The flop fell 1082 and Green check-called a bet of 25,000 from Chen.

The turn brought the 6 and Green checked again. Chen fired out another bet of 100,000 and Green stuck around for the 4 river. Green checked and Chen moved all in for around 300,000. Green went into the tank, using three of his time banks, before eventually laying his hand down.
