Alcorn Forces a Fold from Okamoto

Shiina Okamoto opened to 200,000 on the button with 74, and Heather Alcorn called from the small blind with A4.

The 423 flop saw Alcorn bet 300,000 and Okamoto called. Both had picked up a pair of fours, but Alcorn was ahead with the better kicker.

Alcorn bet 500,000 on the 3 turn and Okamoto mucked her hand. Alcorn remarked, "Nice fold" to Okamoto.

The flop gave two pair to Shashikhina with 9A8 and they all checked. The turn was the 2 and Shashikhina led out for 175,000. Okamoto made the call but Huynh let it go.

The J hit the river, giving a set to Okamoto and Shashikhina opted for a small bet of 200,000. Okamoto shoved, putting Shashikhina at risk. Shashikhina tanked a minute but eventually folded.
