Levy Takes a Multi-Way Pot on the Turn

Lou Ojeda was first to act from the small blind on a flop of 3♣J♥6♠. He checked, and Sean Troha also checked from the big blind. David Levy bet 3,500 from middle position, which both Ojeda and Troha called.

The 3♠ appeared on the turn and the action checked to Levy again. Levy bet 9,500, which this time got both of his opponents to fold.

Negreanu Misreads His Hand & Busts

Mark Steinberg called from the small blind and Daniel Negreanu made it 1,800 from the big blind. Steinberg called.

Both players checked the 7♣2♥3♦ flop to see the K♠ appear on the turn. Steinberg checked again, and Negreanu bet 2,500. Steinberg called.

After Steinberg knuckled the action over to Negreanu on the 10♠ river, Negreanu jammed for 4,600. Steinberg called, and Negreanu exclaimed, "I misread my hand, I thought I had king-ten. I would have checked,".

Negreanu showed just a pair of kings with K♣Q♠J♦9♠, and lost the pot to Steinberg's K♦10♥8♣5♣ for a rivered two pair. The pot was pushed to Steinberg, and Negreanu was out.

Lewis led out with a bet of 7,000 and Justin Smith called on his left. Christopher Costa folded and they were left heads-up going to the 8♣ on the river. Lewis checked this time and Costa quickly checked it back. Lewis tabled K♣J♣J♦8♠ for a set of jacks and earned the pot.

After four checks on a flop of J♠6♠3♦, the dealer put out the 10♠ on the turn. John Hennigan bet 7,000 from the small blind, which got David James to fold from under the gun, Jeff Madsen to call from middle position, and Eric Cohen to fold from the button.

Both players checked the 5♠ river and Madsen took down the pot with a flush holding 10♣9♠7♠2♣.
