2025 World Series of Poker
Ioannis Angelou Konstas was spotted chatting with Nikolaos Lampropoulos one table over and his former seat had no more chips left. He confirmed that Jarryd Godena scored the knockout, who then took on Alejandro Jauregui. In three-way action to the K♥5♣2♣ flop, Jauregui bet 10,000 and Godena was the only caller.
They checked the 9♦ turn and Jauregui also checked the A♠ on the river. Godena bet 20,000 and won the pot without showdown.
Alex Livingston got his last 30,000 or so into the middle with David Paredes trying to bust him.
Alex Livingston: 6♦5♠4♠3♦
David Paredes: K♠K♥10♣8♥
Livingston ended up with a nine-high straight on the Q♣8♣7♥9♣5♣ runout, keeping him alive in the tournament.
There was a raise to 4,000 in early position which was called by Alejandro Jauregui in the hijack and Ioannis Angelou Konstas on the button. The flop came Q♥4♣4♦ and Jauregui tossed in a bet of 7,000. Only Konstas called and the J♦ landed on the turn.
Jauregui fired out another bet of 25,000 and Konstas stuck around for the Q♦ on the river. Jauregui checked this time and Konstas quickly checked it back. Jauregui showed just ace-high while Konstas held 6♦5♣4♠3♦ for a flush.
The cards were already flipped over by the time the live reporting team arrived and Richard Lee was at risk against Dennis Weiss. By the time the board showed Q♦9♠2♥7♠ on the turn, both players had straight draws but Weiss also held an overpair as well as a flush draw to be firm favourite.
Richard Lee: J♣10♣8♠7♥
Dennis Weiss: K♠K♦J♥10♠
The river was the 9♣ and that spelled the end for Lee.
Daemon Richardson raised to 6,500 when Daniel Geeng had limped in and Christian Harder called, as did Geeng. On the J♠7♥5♥ flop, all three players checked to see the A♠ turn for free. It now checked to Richardson and his bet of 15,000 was called two ways.
Richardson also bet the 3♦ river when checked to, making it 40,000 to go. This time, no call followed and Richardson claimed the pot.
R Robins limped from under the gun before Dennis Weiss raised to 9,000 from the cutoff. Only Robins called.
The dealer fanned out a flop of 7♣4♠6♥ and both players checked to see the J♥ appear on the turn. Robins led out for 12,000, which Weiss called.
Two more checks came after the 5♣ river. Robins revealed aces with A♠A♥3♦3♣, which was enough to take down the pot.
Anthony Hu and Simeon Tsonev were heads-up in a pot with around 25,000 in the middle. The flop came J♣8♣4♠ and Hu fired out a bet of 25,000. Tsonev check-raised to 86,000 and Hu pushed all in for just over 110,000. Tsonev quickly called and the cards were face up.
Anthony Hu: A♣10♠6♠5♣
Simeon Tsonev: K♣J♠J♥8♠
The turn was the 8♥ to give Tsonev a full house and he needed it as the 7♠ on the river gave Hu a straight.
Jonathan McGowan made it 7,000 to go from early position and only Petko Tsakov called from the big blind.
Tsakov chose to check-call a bet of 5,000 from McGowan on the J♠2♣2♥ flop.
The 4♦ landed on the turn and Tsakov check-folded to McGowan's bet of 11,000.
