Barakat Flushes the River

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Youness Barakat
Youness Barakat

Navkiran Singh raised it up to 14,000 in the hijack and Youness Barakat came along out of the big blind to check the K87 flop. Singh continued for 16,000 and Barakat check-called for 16,000 to then do the same on the K turn for 30,000.

Both players opted to check the 3 on the river and Barakat's J10108 for the flush earned the pot, while Singh tossed his cards into the muck with visible frustration.

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Gautam Savla made it 15,000 from the cutoff and Frank Brannan called from the button.

The turn came the A and Savla led out for 30,000. Brannan called.

River Can't Save Poseidon

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Igor Holdaiy raised from under the gun to 17,000, before Poseidon Ho moved his remaining 16,000 into the middle. Shrey Maheshwary made the call too, defending his big blind.

When the dealer revealed the 4910 flop, both Holdaiy and Maheshwary checked. This prompted Maheshwary to take a stab at the pot on the 10 turn, and his bet of 21,000 was enough to see Holdaiy fold.

Poseidon Ho: QQQ2 All in
Shrey Maheshwary: 6544

Ho was hoping to see a river queen or ten to stay alive, but the K was no good, and he said his goodbyes before heading to the exit.

No Stopping for Holdaiy

Anson Tsang had raised the button and Joao Estanislau called from the small blind. They checked to the Q105K4 river on which Estanislau checked again. Tsang bet 26,000 and won the pot uncontested.

One table over, Daniel Perkusic had checked the 1095Q turn and Igor Holdaiy fired a pot-sized bet by tossing in four green T-25,000 chips. Perkusic mulled it over for a short while and folded.

"There is no stopping you," Shrey Maheshwary grimaced in the next seat while Holdaiy raked in the pot.

Zhou Cracks the Aces of Seo

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Quan Zhou
Quan Zhou

With roughly 250,000 in the pot preflop Moonho Seo and Quan Zhou saw the dealer put out a flop of 879. Seo jammed for his last 140,000 from the small blind, and Zhou snap called.

Moonho Seo: AA43 All in
Quan Zhou: QJ107

Seo had aces, but was almost drawing dead against the flopped straight of Zhou. The 10 turn and 5 river wasn't the runout Seo needed, and all of his chips were sent over to Zhou.

Andrew Kelsall
Andrew Kelsall

Andrew "AJ" Kelsall was all-in and at risk against Stefan Lehner. By the time the flop showed K63, Kelsall was at risk already with the AK92 for the top pair. Lehner had him crushed with KK103 for top set and instead made a flush with the 9 turn as well as the 8 river.
