Van Hoof Picks Off the Bluff

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action started with the under-the-gun player limping in, encouraging Jorryt van Hoof to do the same from the hijack. Moonho Seo then raised to 30,000 from the cutoff, and only the two limpers called.

When checked to, Seo continued for 35,000 on the 4Q4 flop. Van Hoof was the only player to call, and they went to a turn.

Both players checked the 6 turn, and when the dealer turned the Q river over, Van Hoof led out for 25,000.

Seo took a moment before raising to 125,000, and this put Van Hoof into the tank. After a minute or so, he made the call and was shown the good news.

Seo revealed his 10765, which was no good versus Van Hoof's flush-making 9975.

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Andrew Smith limped in from the hijack which invited both of the blinds to come along. The flop came JJ9 and Smith tossed in a bet of 10,000. The small blind folded but Stefan Lehner called from the big blind.

The 6 landed on the turn and both players checked to the K on the river. Lehner led out with a small bet of 11,000 and Smith quickly looked him up. Lehner tabled AxJx5x3x but Smith flipped over Q10105 for a straight to claim the pot.

Running Straight Sees Zekster Survive

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action folded to Bryn Kenney, who limped in before Kurtis Tinfow raised to 20,000. Igor Zektser, in the small, called the 20,000, which accounted for all of his remaining chips. Kenney made the call, too, and the three players went to a flop, with Zekster at risk.

Kenney check-folded to a bet of 30,000 on the K510 flop, and the two remaining players revealed their cards.

Igor Zektser: 7653 All in
Kurtis Tinfow: AKJ8

Zekster was behind, but the turn 4 provided more outs, and when the river 3 improved him to a straight, the dealer pushed the triple up in his direction.
