Ivey Spikes Turn to Triple

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Moonho Seo opened from the cutoff to 10,000, and both Dominykas Karmazinas and Phil Ivey called from the blinds.

When Karmazinas checked the KJ4 flop, Ivey bet 35,000, with just 11,000 behind. Seo called before Karmazinas check-raised to 170,000. Ivey flicked in his remaining chips, and after a bit of consistency, Seo folded.

Phil Ivey: QJ106 All in
Dominykas Karmazinas: KJJ8

Karmazinas was ahead with middle set, but the A turn improved Ivey to a straight, giving him the lead.

There was no board pair on the 6 river, and Ivey pulled in the pot, good for a triple up.

Dream Flop for Rocco

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Michael Rocco raised it up from the cutoff and Steve Zolotow shoved all in for his last 37,000 in the small blind. Rocco snapped him off and the cards were on their backs.

Steve Zolotow: AKJ10All in
Michael Rocco: QJ98

The flop fell J94 to give Rocco two pair and a flush draw. The 3 on the turn locked things up and Zolotow was left drawing dead to the 2 on the river.

Quevedo Says His Goodbyes

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Federico Quevedo raised in middle position to 14,000, with little more than that in his stack. Action folded to Gabriel Andrade in the small blind, who raised enough to put Quevedo all in. The big blind promptly folded, and when Quevedo called, the players revealed their cards

Federico Quevedo: AQJ8 All in
Gabriel Andrade: KKJ10

There was no help for Quevedo on the 227 flop, and when the 10 turn and 6 river completed the runout, Andrade had the pot pushed in his direction as Quevedo headed to the exit.

Attiyah Misclick Costs Fishman and Chips

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Ray Attiyah opened to 11,000 in middle position and Ken Fishman three-bet to 35,000 on his left. The action folded back to Attiyah who meant to just call, but had an extra T25,000 chip in his stack which forced him to raise the minimum to 59,000.

Fishman responded by raising the pot to 183,000 and Attiyah made the call. The flop came 855 with around 370,000 in the middle and Attiyah jammed all in for his last 192,000. Fishman went into the tank for a couple of minutes and looked visibly frustrated as he sent his cards into the muck and took a walk away from the table.

Drinan Misses All His Outs to Bust

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

From the small blind, on a flop of 4J7, Connor Drinan jammed for 58,000 with two players to get through. R Robins was the first and folded from early position, but Kyle Bowker made the call from the button.

Connor Drinan: AK98 All in
Kyle Bowker: AJ85

Bowker had a pair of jacks against the draws of Drinan. The 2 on the turn added a flush draw for Bowker. The 5 hit the river, leaving Drinan with just ace-high, and he was eliminated.

Davies Runs Hot After Late Entry

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Seth Davies
Seth Davies

Seth Davies peeled against a reraise to 44,000 by Qiaonan Liu in the small blind and came along on the button. Liu jammed the last bit of his stack on the A74 flop and Davies called, exclaiming, "set of fours," right away.

Qiaonan Liu: AQJ10 All in
Seth Davies: 4433

The 3 turn gave Davies a second set and left Liu drawing dead prior to the 9 river.

"You are running so hot," Pei Li sighed.
