With neither player having a heart in their hand, Putz had to find one of the two remaining jacks in the deck.
The turn A♠ only served to improve Fernandez to trips, and there was no help for Putz on the 4♦ river, and he slid a tower of chips to his tablemate.
Marco Meisser began the action with a jam from early position for 2,100,000. Ryan Hall opted to also jam for 5,100,000 from the small blind, but Calmus Ronald was undeterred as he shipped his final 1,600,000 to create a three-way showdown.

Meisser held the best of it as they embarked on a runout. The J♠6♦K♣ flop gave Ronald some more equity.
The A♥ turn vaulted Ronald into the lead, but to his disappointment, it was followed by the Q♣ river to give Meisser a set and eliminate Ronald from the tournament.
Ethan Furstoss raised on the button and faced an all-in three-bet from Fred Goldberg seated in the small blind, for a stack around 4,300,000. Furtoss quickly called with slightly less chips for the following showdown.

Alexandre Jaulain began the action with an open from under the gun. The table folded to Navid Nasseri, who shipped it from the small blind for 1,925,000. Jaulain wasted little time making the call and put Nasseri at risk.

Nasseri needed to outdraw Jaulain to stay alive, but the 2♥2♠6♣ flop brought little to the table for Nasseri.

Benjamin Scrogins was all in and at risk for roughly 1,800,000 from the small blind and was up against Gregory Fournier on the button.

Daniel Negreanu has had a stellar 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) and "Kid Poker" isn't slowing down. Negreanu just reached his fifth final table of the summer in Event #76: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet.
Negreanu entered the third and final day of the Mixed Big Bet event with 83 big blinds, good to be tied second in chips with Marco Johnson and within reach of chip leader Aaron Kupin. He held onto those chips throughout the first hour of play and now finds himself at the final table again second in chips.
Robert Mclaughlin's seventh-place elimination confirmed Negreanu's spot at the official final table as he chases an eighth bracelet.
The tournament drew 458 runners for a prize pool of $1,019,050. The eventual winner will receive $206,982, while each of the seven remaining players are guaranteed a payout of $22,311.
Jherson Alvarez raised under the gun to 500,000 and Jason Funke shoved in the cutoff for 4,600,000. Connor Daynard reshoved in the big blind with the biggest stack and Alvarez let it go:
