Schwartz Short

Level 25

Qinghai Pan: 74 / 6867 / Xx
Luke Schwartz: AXx / 2A5J / Xx

Luke Schwartz has continued trending downwards and most recently lost a pot to Qinghai Pan.

Picking up the action on sixth street, Schwartz checked and Pan also checked. Both players checked again on seventh street.

Pan showed two pair and it was good to take the pot as Schwartz complained about bricking after starting with a pair of aces.

Qinghai Pan: 33 / 9234 / 9
David Lin: XxXx / 410 - folded on fourth street
Luke Schwartz: XxXx / A276 / Xx - folded on seventh street

Luke Schwartz completed and was called by both opponents. Schwartz bet on fourth and and Pan was the only caller.

Pan then raised over Schwartz's bet on fifth street. "Pair of nines is not a good spot," said Schwartz as he called.

Schwartz checked and Pan fired out a bet on sixth street. "Are you rolled up?" Schwartz asked after calling the bet, which left him with 120,000.

Schwartz checked on seventh and then faced a decision for his tournament life as Pan made a final bet.

Schwartz may have been attending to the pain in his neck with a massage, but he couldn't escape the pain that Pan's wager put him in.

"One time in life you have aces and a low," Schwartz directed at Pan. "I don't think you have aces and a low. You would've raised...You could do though."

After some more thinking time and talking out loud, Schwartz released his hand. Pan showed 339 for a boat, with Schwartz surprised that Pan called on third street with a pair of threes.

Luke Schwartz: 43 / A5 All in
David Lin: AQ / 74

Schwartz had a very strong start with four cards to a Wheel, but his board ran out 9JK to brick everything, while Lin proceeded to make eights and sevens with 887.

"This is unbelievable," Schwartz said glumly. "You win."

"A hard earned 40,000," said Lin after the hand.
