Reknar His a Set

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There were roughly 25,000 chips in the pot on 42Q103, Stephen Lardner bet 6,000 from early position and to his surprise he got raised by Girish Reknar to 15,000 on his direct left.

Lardner went into the tank for a few moments before he eventually called, Reknar tabled a set with 22, and Lardner shook his head and mucked.

Murilo Figueredo: AJ

Wardrup got no favors from the cards 10K3Q5, as Figueredo turned a Broadway straight to end his tournament.

Claudio Lorenzi: 87 All in
Tommy Dyer: AJ

The flop came K10Q giving Dyer a straight and making Lorenzi get up and pack his things. The runout A9 didn't change anything. Dyer scooped the pot as Lorenzi left the table.

Kingery Doubles Through Duveau

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jared Kingery opened the hand with an all-in from middle position. The action folded to Julien Duveau, who opted to call from the small blind to put Kingery at risk.

Jared Kingery: 44All in
Julien Duveau: KQ

Kingery was best with pocket fours preflop, and the flop did not compromise that as it fanned out 83A.

The 2 was safe for Kingery, and although the river was paint, it was the J to award Kingery the double.

Loeliger Takes Her Leave

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Paulina Loeliger pushed all in with her final 28,500 chips on the button. Victor Shih made the call from the big blind.

Paulina Loeliger: KJAll in
Victor Shih: AK

After seeing her situation, Loeliger began packing her stuff before the flop. The runout 465Q2 didn't connect with either player's hand, so Shih's ace was enough for the win.

Cassandra Yong: J10All in
Daniel Nisbet: KJ

Yong needed to improve but missed on the 529 flop. She was looking at a backdoor stright draw, but the A turn didn't help.

Double Set, Double Draw, and a Needle Backdoor

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Daniel Fanselow
Daniel Fanselow

Action began, as it often does, with a preflop raise, this one coming from Darrell Dolen, who made it 3,000 from early position. Eric Kotsines smooth called two doors down, and Daniel "Howie" Fanselow did the same from the hijack. The three went off to a flop and, as it turned out, it couldn't have been more perfectly curated for action.

As the 957 flop fanned out, Dolen continued for 6,000, Kotsines raised to 18,000, before Fanselow three-bet all in. Dolen called, covering both other players, and Kotsines put himself at risk, too.

Eric Kotsines: 99 All in
Daniel Fanselow: 55 All in
Darrell Dolen: A6

If the devil himself chose a flop for this hand, it would've been the one that gave top set to Kotsines, bottom set to Fanselow, as well as the nut flush draw and a gutshot to Dolen. Incredibly, Dolen went runner-runner two pair, yet still came last in the hand, unable to crack either set and having to pay out a huge portion of his stack. Somehow, nobody busted, but both he and Fanselow were left short, whereas Kotsines' chips now rose highest above the rail.
