After a check, Paul Tait fired 10,300 on a pot of around 15,000 and a board of A♦8♠Q♣9♦. Rubens Michael, the only other player in the hand, called from the small blind.

Both players checked the J♦ river, urging both players to show their hands. Michael turned over A♣5♥ then Tait flipped over A♠9♠ for a turned two pair.

Ronnie Lamb started the action in middle position with a 2,500 bet and got one customer in Ilan Cohen in cutoff. The two players saw a flop of J♠4♠5♥.

Lamb check-called Cohen's bet of 2,100. Betting slowed when the 7♥ turn fell and both players knuckled.

Action resumed when the river K♦ with Lamb betting 4,400, which was enough to make Cohen fold.

Shannon Lazorko was seen walking away from the table after being knocked out from the small blind by Christian Tomren to her direct left in the big blind. Luke Wasikowski was also caught up in the action from middle position and doubled up Tomren but his cards were already face down.

The cards were already on their backs and players were looking at a monotone 4♥6♥K♥7♥2♥ runout.

Tomren had the nut flush and stole the pot from both players, putting him in the top ten of the counts.

Ben Mintz, aka "Mintzy," on Tuesday, took one of the dirtiest bad beats we've seen all summer at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

The Barstool Sports personality, thanks to a one-outer on the river, is out of Event #75: $1,000 Mini Main Event on Day 2. He earned a small cash but was devastated by the manner in which he exited the tournament.

The 8♠8♦K♠ flop was checked by Abrevaya. Kardules bet 5,000 and got a call only from Abrevaya.

Players checked the 2♣ turn to the 3♠ river. Abrevaya bet out 8,700 which saw a Kardules muck.

Anders Strandberg opened the action with a raise to 3,000 from under the gun. Nicolas Nabet made the call from the cutoff, before Mauro Pomponi then shoved on his direct left for 16,700. Strandberg, undeterred, reshoved for a total of 29,200. Nabet pondered for a moment before folding.

Pompini was happy to see that he was far ahead; however, he became far less so after seeing the 4♠6♠5♥ flop. "That's a good flop," noticed Strandberg. "I've equalized." Not only did he equalize, but he then went and scored late on, following a K♥ turn and 7♠ river. Pomponi was defeated and exited the table.
