All three players checked the 8♦10♠5♣ flop leading to the 6♦ turn. Liu bet 2,000, Towers folded and Goss shoved for 11,900. Liu called with a covering stack to put him at risk.

Goss was a massive favorite with top set against Liu's pair of nines and gutshot, and after the K♠ river changed nothing for either player and Goss doubled up.
