Meehan Takes a Hand

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Thomas Meehan
Thomas Meehan

Ioannis Panagopoulos raised to 2,000 in early position. Patrick Wade made the call form middle position. Thomas Meehan defended his big blind with a call.

The flop hit Q8K, and Panagopoulos continued with a bet of 2,500. Wade and Meehan called.

The turn brought the 4, and this time Meehan fired first, betting 10,000. Panagopoulos and Wade folded.

Meehan, who has limited mobility because of ALS, had the help of Jason Steinart, a friend from his hometown Chelsea, Mich.

Steinart moves the cards dealt to Meehan to an angled wooden block, so he can peak at each hand. Meehan plays the hands by himself and folds on his own by sliding the cards down the ramp.

Steinart rakes in the chips when Meehan wins a pot.
