Ostapchenko Wins Two in a Row

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Andrew Ostapchenko
Andrew Ostapchenko

In a pot of 34,000, Andrew Ostapchenko checked from early position to Daniele Primerano on the button on a completed board of 79446.

Primerano then added 23,000 to the pot, which Ostapchenko raised to 75,000. Primerano spent enough time in the tank for the clock to be called.

When his countdown started, he made a quick fold to surrender the pot, and Ostapchenko tabled the A as he raked in the chips.

The next hand, Ostapchenko raised to 2,500 under the gun. Frederic Delval called in the next seat over, and Fabrizio Nolano did so on the button. Jesse Lonis defended his big blind, and the 627 flop was fanned.

Ostapchenko continued for 3,000, which was called by Delval and Nolano. Lonis check-folded, and the remaining trio checked through the 7 turn and 3 river.

Ostapchenko tabled QQ, and he was awarded back-to-back pots when his opponents' cards hit the muck.
