Luis Blasts Merson Off a Chop

Action folded to Damien Luis in the small blind who limped in. Greg Merson then raised to 160,000 in the big blind and Luis called.

The flop came A♦K♥3♥ and Merson bet 275,000. Luis called and the 9♣ fell on the turn.

Merson then bet 550,000 and Luis again called. The river was the 9♥ and Luis led out for 400,000.

Merson only took a few seconds before tossing A♣J♦ into the muck. Luis showed him A♥2♣ for the same two pair while taking in the pot.

"I knew if I thought about it for longer, I would've called. That's why I folded so quickly," Merson said.
