Luis Blasts Merson Off a Chop

Level 23 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action folded to Damien Luis in the small blind who limped in. Greg Merson then raised to 160,000 in the big blind and Luis called.

The flop came AK3 and Merson bet 275,000. Luis called and the 9 fell on the turn.

Merson then bet 550,000 and Luis again called. The river was the 9 and Luis led out for 400,000.

Merson only took a few seconds before tossing AJ into the muck. Luis showed him A2 for the same two pair while taking in the pot.

"I knew if I thought about it for longer, I would've called. That's why I folded so quickly," Merson said.
