Power Takes Over the Chip Lead
Level 26
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Chad Power opened from the hijack with K♣10♠ and Sebastian Schulze called in the cutoff with A♦Q♥. David Swift also called in the small blind.
They went to a flop of A♣J♠6♠, where Swift checked and Power bet 225,000. Schulze called and Swift folded.
Power checked the Q♦ turn when he made Broadway, and Schulze fired out 515,000 with his top two pair. Power just called.
A 3♣ on the river was a brick and again Power checked, then Schulze fired 1,600,000. Power took some time before he announced a raise to 5,000,000, which sent Schulze into the tank. After a few minutes, Schulze couldn't find the fold, and sent a large pile of chips over to Power once he saw the bad news.
