Veloso Gets Freitas to Fold the Best Hand

Richard Freitas raised to 800,000 with the A♣J♣ and Sergio Veloso three-bet to 2,400,000 with the Q♥J♥ in the hijack for the initial raiser to call. After the 9♦4♣3♣ flop, Freitas check-called for 1,400,000 and did so again for 2,500,000 on the K♥ turn.
That led them to the 7♠ river on which Freitas checked once more. Veloso pushed all-in for his last 8,400,000 and managed to force out Freitas with the better hand after both players had missed their draws.
