Three Hooks For Reyes

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Elvis Reyes in late position and Brent Barby in the cutoff with 4,300 in the center.

On the board reading KJJQ Reyes checked to Barby who bet 2,100 and Reyes called.

The river peeled off a 9 and Reyes checked over to Barby who bet 5,000 and Reyes called.

Barby tabled 66 for jacks and sixes, but it was no good against Reyes' AJ for three jacks and an ace.

Banerjee Overbets the Turn

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

There were roughly 2,000 chips in the pot on a board of 2J95, Troy Otto who was under the gun checked to Abhisek Banerjee in the cutoff and he bet 3,000, Otto called.

Both players checked on the 3, Otto tabled 43 for a pair but could not beat the top pair of Banerjee with KJ.

Gasevic Takes a Small One

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Hen Rosilio raised in early position to 700 and was met with a three-bet by Nikola Gasevic, next to act, to 2,000. Kevin Neb made the call on the button, and Rosilio came along too.

Gasevic continued for 2,200 on the Q23 flop, and only Neb made the call.

When the dealer revealed the Q turn, Gasevic managed to shake Neb off, when his bet of 5,000 received a fold from his opponent.

Sternheimer Rivers Two Pair

Remi Derossi raised to 800 from the hijack and was called by Philip Sternheimer in the cutoff and Haim Gabay in the big blind.

Action checked through on the A54 flop and Gabay checked again to Derossi, who bet 1,900 on the J turn. Both Sternheimer and Gabay called.

The 8 completed the board and and Gabay checked a final time. Derossi bet 6,000, which got a quick call from Sternheimer and a tank-fold from Gabay.

Derossi turned over AK for top pair, but Sternheimer revealed A8 for aces and eights to claim the pot.

With 24,000 already in the pot, cutoff Simon Lofberg checked the 45Q39 river over to Mark Zajdner on the button, who bet 11,000.

Lofberg took little time before he tossed in a call. Zajdner could only show ace-high with AJ, leaving Lofberg to take the pot as he had hero-called with 77.

WIlkinson Fires Two Barrels

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Samuel Wilkinson opened to 700 from the cutoff. Richard Billig called from the button and Jody Howe defended from the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of 10K8 and Wilkinson continued for 2,000. Howe was the only one to call.

Wilkinson fired a second barrel of 5,000 on the K turn, but Howe check-folded.

Daniel Takes From Morgenstern

Action was picked up in a pot between Anton Morgenstern in middle position and Thomas Daniel in late position.

The pot contained 5,800 in the middle and both players checked the flop of 8A4 to the turn 2 where Daniel bet 1,800 after Morgenstern checked over to him.

Morgenstern called that bet and checked the 3 river over to Daniel who fired another bet, this time to the tune of 5,200.

After some thought, Morgenstern tossed his hand into the muck and Daniel took down the pot.

Saleh Rivers the Nuts

Action was joined with a full board showing 893K7, and roughly 12,500 already in the middle.

Paul Runge had checked the action over to Syed Saleh, who placed a bet of 4,000. Runge wasn't overjoyed with the situation, quite the opposite. He sat back in his seat and gave his options some consideration before flicking in the call.

It was immediate bad news as Saleh turned over AJ for the rivered nut flush.

Spencer & Blom Happy to Chop the Pot

Nathan Ivarsen raised to 900 from the button before Lewis Spencer three-bet from the small blind. Viktor Blom cold four-bet out of the big blind to 13,200, which only Spencer called.

Spencer knuckled the action over to Blom on the 35J flop, and Blom fired out a small bet of 6,800. Spencer stuck around with a call.

Two checks followed the J turn to see the 6 appear on the river. Another round of checks came and Spencer showed AK for ace-high. Blom couldn't beat it, as he turned over AK for the same hand, and the two chopped the pot.
