Murata Flips Out Benohod

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Mohamed Benohod was all in and at risk against Eder Murata, with the cards on their backs.

Mohamed Benohod: AK All in
Eder Murata: 99

The classic flip saw both players connect on the A59 flop, as Murata spiked a set. Benohod found top pair and a flush draw, but could not improve further on the 7 turn or 6 river to end his Main Event.

Michael Gonzales opened to 1,300 from middle position and he was called by the hijack and by both players in the blinds.

Gonzales continued for 2,500 on the 4A5 flop, but only Phil Mader in the small blind made the call.

The turn was the J. Gonzales fired a second barrel of 6,100, but Mader check-raised to 15,000. Gonzales called but saw Mader moving all-in for 14,400 on the J river. He decided to fold.

A Pham, a Sam and a Jam: A Poker Trinity

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Action was joined on the river with roughly 5,000 in the middle and a full board showing Q2272.

Action was on Brian Pham, who moved all in. Pham had the larger stack of the two remaining players, and as such, was asking his opponent to risk his tournament life.

Jereld Sam was the player trying to figure it out. He had a stack of 12,600, so the all-in was for significantly more than the pot.

After a minute or two had passed, he committed his remaining stack and quickly received good news. Pham rolled over his KJ for just king-high. Sam turned over QJ for a full house, and once his stack amount was confirmed, the double up was pushed in his direction.

Bifarella Shows One After Turn Shove

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Samuel Bifarella three-bet to 5,800 in the small blind and received calls from Judith Bielan in middle position and He Zhou in the hijack.

All three players checked the Q65 flop. Bifarella then led out for 7,000 on the 3 turn and Bielan raised to 20,000. Zhou got out of the way, but Bifarella came back with an all-in shove.

"Do you really have a set of queens?" Bielan asked as she went deep into the tank. She had around 35,000 remaining and spent several minutes considering the decision.

"Ace-queen of diamonds? What do you think I have?" she asked Bifarella.

"Threes?" Bifarella replied.

Bielan ended up folding and Bifarella asked her if she wanted him to show one card. Bielan nodded and Bifarella turned over the K as he took the pot.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Vladimir Revniaga checked the 9J6 flop in middle position, and Cliff Josephy slid out a bet of 3,200 from the hijack.

Revniaga then raised to 10,200, and Josephy called to see the 9 turn. Revniaga led out for 5,000, and the call was made.

The 10 river led to checks from both players, and Revniaga showed AA.

"They're good," Josephy said as he mucked his cards, and Revniaga raked in the pot.

Jivkov Picks Off Goodman's Bluff

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three-ways to the turn with the board reading 9856, Ramon Pessoa checked from the small blind to Samuel Goodman in the big blind who fired a near-pot sized bet of 8,800 into the middle. Nick Jivkov called in the hijack while Pessoa folded.

On the 3 river, Goodman fired out another bet of 11,500. Jivkov would tank for almost two minutes before he put in the call.

Samuel Goodman: Q10
Nick Jivkov: 99

Goodman was bluffing while Jivkov made the right call with his top set to drag a sizeable one off of Goodman.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

After an early position raise and two calls, Gurpreet Taneja squeezed it up to 6,000 from the button. The initial raiser and first caller folded, but David Kluchman called from the button.

On the JA2 flop, Taneja bet 7,000, which Kluchman called.

Taneja slowed down by checking the 3 turn and Kluchman now bet 5,500. Taneja called.

When the dealer put out the K on the river, Taneja led out for 14,000. Kluchman took his time before choosing to fold and allowed Taneja to win the pot.
