Kolsun Turns a Boat...Against Feda's Quads

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Waheed Feda from middle position and Elias Kolsun from the cutoff were tangled in a pot.

With the board reading J3310 on the turn with 16,000 in the pot, Kolsun got his final 25,100 into the middle with Feda making the call to put him at risk.

Elias Kolsun: 1010 All in
Waheed Feda: 33

It was a disgusting cooler as the table stood aghast at the hands tabled in front of them. Feda had flopped quad threes before Kolsun turned a full house. Kolsun still had one out which did not come on the 4 river as all he could do was laugh on his way out of the tournament area.

Zack In Reverse

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Dan Zack
Dan Zack

Steven Cabas opened from early position to 1,200, and former Player of the Year, Dan Zack, was next to act. Zack flicked in a call before action folded to the big blind, who came along to see three, too.

Cabas continued with a bet of 1,800 on the 710Q flop, which only Zack called.

Both Cabas and Zack checked the 6 turn, on their way to the 7 river.

Cabas continued with another check, which prompted Zack to place a bet of 5,000. Cabas made the immediate call and was able to beat the KQ of Zack with his AQ.

Bell Wins the Most Classic of Coolers Against Liu

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Ralph Bell from early position and Chun Liu from the big blind found themselves in a raising way preflop which resulted in Bell being all-in and at risk for his final 86,000 in a massive pot.

Ralph Bell: AA All in
Chun Liu: KK

It was the most brutal cooler that the deck could have offered. No sweat was required for Bell on the J8585 runout as he collected the full double in a pot of almost 300 big blinds.

Jonathan Jaffe raised to 1,500 on the button, with Ray Henson calling in the small blind and Carlos Leiva defending his big blind.

All three players checked the 1046 flop, and Henson led out for 3,300 on the 6 turn. Leiva raised to 8,100, producing a fold from Jaffe.

Henson called and checked the 9 river. Leiva checked back, mucking his hand as Henson tabled A10 for two pair.

Talbot Starts in the Right Direction

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Parker Talbot
Parker Talbot

When the action got to Parker Talbot, there was already a raise to 1,400 in front of him. He opted to call, and this brought Miltiadis Kyriakides along too, from the button.

The initial raiser checked on the A45 flop, giving Talbot the green light to take over the betting lead, doing so for 2,000. Kyriakides called, and the initial raiser folded.

Talbot turned the heat up on the 9 turn, putting out a bet of 6,000. This was too rich for Kyriakides, who folded, conceding the pot to Talbot.

Yoder Finds the Double

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

From early position, Bret Yoder jammed for 16,600, and Eran Aydin was the only caller from the hijack.

Bret Yoder: QJ All in
Eran Aydin: AK

Yoder was behind to the Big Slick of Aydin, but he did have two live cards working for him. The J43 flop gave Yoder a pair of jacks, while Aydin had a flush draw. The 8 turn and 10 river didn't help Aydin, and Yoder earned the double-up.

Masashi Oya
Masashi Oya

In a four-bet pot worth 43,000 to the 35KJ turn, Jeffrey Mulder piled in enough chips from the cutoff to put button Masashi Oya all-in. Oya counted his stack of 65,000 multiple times, claiming to have a king.

Eventually, the number one on the Japanese all-time money list let his hand go, showing K9 as he did so.

Cherish Andrews
Cherish Andrews

Meng-Ling Lin came in with a raise to 1,200 from early position before Cherish Andrews three-bet to 3,600 from the next seat. After the rest of the table had folded, Lin made the call.

Lin check-called a bet of 2,500 from Andrews on the 83K flop.

The 10 turn and 2 river checked through, and Lin flipped over KQ for a pair of kings. Andrews mucked, and Lin pulled in the pot.
