Below are some of the highlights for Level 4 action:

Kates Eliminated by Baker

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Three ways to the 543 flop, Douglas Hobold had 2,000 out in front and Zachariah Kates then pushed all-in for around 14,000. Kenton Baker called and Hobold folded.

Zachariah Kates: JJ All in
Kenton Baker: 55

The flopped set of Baker had Kates on the ropes, who failed to connect with the 7 turn and A river.

Roff Going for Lee

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Phillip Lee raised to 1,500 from the cutoff. Brian Roff defended his small blind.

The flop of K103 elicited checks from the pair. The A on the turn brought a 2,000-chip bet from Lee, which Roff called.

The river was the K, and Roff took the lead, flipping a 5,000 chip forward. Lee paused for a but, then made the call.

"I think I got you," he said.

He didn't.

Roff turned over 76 for the winning hand with a flush.

Sickle Fires Thrice

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Chet Sickle raised to 1,100 in middle position, finding calls from John Connors on his left and Oren Haziza on the button. Nicholas Kallenbach also came along in the big blind, and the 86J flop hit the felt.

Kallenbach checked to Sickle, who continued with a bet of 1,200. Only Haziza called to see the 8 turn, and Sickle fired again for 2,500.

This time, Haziza let his hand go, leaving Sickle to drag in the chips.

Orlando Battles Through

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Randolph Sells opened from under the gun to 1,200 and Jon Orlando raised to 2,500 from middle position. Christopher Lewis called from the hijack and Grigorios Bellos called from the cutoff. Jerome Youngbar re-raised to 5,500 in the small blind and only Sells folded.

The Q3K flop was bet by Youngbar to 3,000 and Orlando called. Lewis raised to 8,500 and only Orlando called, leaving the players to go heads-up.

The J was turned and players checked to the 4 river.

Orlando bet out 13,000 and he took the pot after showing KQ as Youngbar mucked.

Simeon Spasov
Simeon Spasov

Simeon Spasov checked the 39Q10 flop from the big blind to Tobey Faugno under the gun, who added 2,000 to the pot of 5,200.

Spasov called to the 5 river, where he checked again. Faugno bet 5,000, and Spasov called off after some thought. Faugno showed KQ for top pair, and Spasov nodded his head as he sent his cards to the muck.

Spasov was left with two big blinds, which he lost a couple of hands later.

Griff Under Pressure

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

On a heads-up flop of AKJ, Jordan Griff check-called for 2,000 against Devin Horvath and did so again for 3,000 on the 2 turn. They checked the A on the river and a seemingly annoyed Griff tabled the A7 for trips aces. Since being a big stack during the previous break, Griff's stack had tumbled below half of the starting stack.

Torekaasa Forces the Folds

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Oddgeir Torekaasa opened to 1,200 in early position, and Patrick McKelvey three-bet to 3,000 on his left. Thomas Stocker made the call on the button before Torekaasa four-bet to 8,000.

McKelvey and Stocker both called and checked the 572 flop. Torekaasa continued with a bet of 8,000, good enough to take down the pot as both opponents folded.

Rivered Boat Not Enough For Tubaugh Against Melius

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Brian Tubaugh bet 8,000 from the big blind on a board of QJK8 before Barth Melius raised enough in early position to put Tubaugh all in. Tubaugh tanked for a few minutes before calling for his last 20,000.

Tubaugh showed K8 for two pair, but Melius had QQ for a set. Several players at the table reacted when the 8 came on the river to give Tubaugh a full house, but Melius had improved to queens and eights to win the pot.

"I needed the king only. Good game, guys," Tubaugh said on his way to the rail.

Ethan "Rampage" Yau and 2014 Main Event champion Martin Jacobson were also recently eliminated.
