Umerova Pushes Moorman Out

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Safiya Umerova raised to 3,000 from middle position. John Racener called from the button.

Chris Moorman three-bet to 14,000. Umerova called.

The flop hit J4J and Moorman continued with a 10,000-chip bet. Again, Umerova called.

The players checked the 3 on the turn, but Moorman tossed a green 25,000 chip at the pot when the A landed on the river. Umerova threw her chip even farther, past the pot entirely, to make the call.

As it landed, Moorman threw his cards into the muck. Umerova didn't have to show to take down the pot.

Turn Three-Bet Fails Hickey

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Heads-up to the 10632 turn, Thomas Ward checked from the big blind to Jason Hickey in the hijack. Hickey bet 4,500, which Ward raised to 16,000. Hickey clicked it back to 29,000, and Ward called.

The 3 river was checked by both players. Ward turned over 106, and his tens and sixes were good enough to rake in the pot.

Ace on the Flop Kills the Action

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Loni Hui opened to 3,500 from under the gun and picked up a caller along the way. Romain Locquet three-bet to 21,000 from the small blind and only Hui called.

The flop came A66 and both players checked to the 5 on the turn and the 9 on the river. Locquet checked for the third time and Hui quickly knuckled it back. Locquet tabled KQ but Hui turned over JJ to scoop the pot.
