2025 World Series of Poker
The action started with a raise to 2,200 from the player under the gun. Carl Devries made the call in the hijack, before Christopher Vitch chose to three-bet to 9,000 from the cutoff.
The initial raiser folded, but Devries called for a second time.
The dealer spread a flop of 8♠5♠10♣ and Devries had no interest in playing in flow. He opted instead to lead out into Vitch for 12,000.
A puzzled-looking Vitch took a moment or two to decide how to respond, ultimately deciding just to return his cards to the dealer.

Jakub Michalak got things started with a raise to 2,500 from middle position holding K♠7♠, and found one customer in Joseph Baghdalian, who called from the cutoff with A♣Q♦.
The 5♥4♠9♥ flop saw Michalak keep up the pressure with a 2,600 continuation bet, which Baghdalian called.
But when the J♠ hit the turn, Michalak ramped it up to 8,500, and that second barrel was enough to push Baghdalian off his hand.
James Minghini raised to 2,500 in early position. Keith Carter called in middle position, as did poker vlogger Brad Owen on the button. Joshua Mccully defended his big blind, and he led out for 2,800 on the 6♥2♦4♥ flop.
Minghini tossed in a call, after which Carter folded. Owen also came along to the 10♣ turn, which was checked to him. Owen fired a bet of 14,000, which only Mccully called.
Owen sized up to 30,000 on the A♣ river.
"Oh, Bradley," Mccully sighed as he went deep into the tank. After a couple of minutes, he called off. Owen revealed 6♦6♣ for a set of sixes, and Mccully quickly added his cards to the muck.
Andrew Rosen picked up Q♠J♠ in middle position and opened to 2,500, getting a call from Andres Carrera in the big blind with A♥5♦.
The 2♠3♥J♣ flop brought top pair for Rosen, who continued for 2,200 after Carreramesa checked. Carrera stuck around with a gutshot.
The A♠ on the turn paired Carrera, but he checked again and Rosen opted to check behind.
When the 3♠ landed on the river, completing Rosen’s flush, Carrera led out for 3,000. Rosen responded with a raise to 11,500, and after some thought, Carrera let go of his top pair. Rosen dragged in a nicely sized pot.
Francisco Trujillo was already all in and at risk for 26,300 total from the small blind against Gus Hansen, who had Trujillo covered on the button.
Francisco Trujillo: A♠9♠
Gus Hansen: J♠J♣
The 6♣10♣K♠ flop and 4♣ turn looked good for Hansen and bleak for Trujillo, but the A♦ river paired Trujillo's ace at the last possible moment — awarding him the double up through Hansen.
Heitor Saraiva raised to 2,500 in late position and Jonathan Tamayo called on the button which saw Bryan Buonocore call in the big blind.
Action checked through on the 10♠4♠4♣ flop to the J♠ turn where Buonocore bet 2,400 and Saraiva folded. Tamayo responded by raising to 7,500 and Buonocore called.
Buonocore checked the 6♦ river over to Tamayo who moved all in for 16,800 effective. After some thought he tossed his cards into the muck, ceding the pot to the defending WSOP Main Event champion.
