Woo Fades Sabat's Flush Draw

Eddy Sabat had 5,000 placed out in front of him on a flop of Q35. Jung Woo jammed from the next seat for 40,500, and after a bit of thinking, Sabat made the call.

Woo had a pair of queens against the flush draw of Sabat. The 8 came on the turn and the 10 rolled off on the river. Woo doubled up with top pair at the expense of Sabat.

Chung Begins His Spin Up

David Chung jammed for 8,500 from middle position and was called by Kang Lee in the big blind.

Chung was in great shape to start his spin-up with the better ace. The 991035 runout improved neither player, which meant Chung doubled up with ace-queen high.

Small Blind Special for Han

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Andrew Karkenny raised from late position to 3,000 and found calls from Man Tse on the cutoff, Yong Han in the small blind and Christopher Meyers in the big blind.

The flop came J8A, and it was checked to Karkenny, who continued for 5,000 and got calls from Tse and Meyers. All players checked the 3 on the turn as they did the 9 river.

Han proudly turned over his J3, knowing that he had the best hand and he wasn't wrong and was pushed the pot.

Clifford Mills raised to 3,500 with the A10 and Srikanth Koneru called with the 99. Anton Jancaj then three-bet to 9,000 with KK and Koneru was the only caller to check the KQ3 flop. Koneru checked and subsequently folded to a bet of 6,000.

Lucky Fishbein Finds Value

In a three-bet pot worth 34,000, Jacob Fishbein bet 8,000 from the small blind on the 576 flop. Joseph Liberta called on the button, and called another bet from Fishbein on the 7 turn.

The river saw the Q appear. Fishbein put in a third barrel worth 13,000, which Liberta called after some time in the tank. Fishbein tabled AQ for queens and sevens, and Liberta sighed as he mucked his cards.

"Nice hand," Liberta told his opponent.

"Thanks. I got lucky on the river," Fishbein admitted.

O'Donnell Eliminates Squizzato

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Aciton was picked up on the flop in a pot between Michael Squizzato from under the gun, Jeremy Ausmus in middle position, and Kenneth O'Donnell in late position.

The flop read 7JQ and Squizzato moved all in for 28,000 which saw Ausmus call. O'Donnell moved all in for 72,000 effective and Ausmus went into the tank for some time before folding what he said was ace-queen.

Kenneth O'Donnell: 77

O'Donnell held up on the 44 runout and Squizzato was eliminated from the tournament while Ausmus was left as one of the shorter stacks at the table.
