Rafaelovitz Soars in Four-Bet Pot

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After Moshe Rafaelovitz had opened, Bjoern Flueckiger three-bet to 5,500 from the small blind. Rafaelovitz responded with a four-bet to 13,600, and Flueckiger called.

Flueckiger check-called the 6,500 bet from Rafaelovitz on the 6J6 flop, after which the 4 arrived on the turn. Rafaelovitz sized up to 11,500, which was enough to let Flueckiger check-fold his cards.

Yamagishi Gives it Up

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

David Mowery opened from the button to 2,500, and was met with immediate resistance. Colten Yamagishi, who started the hand in the small blind, elected to three-bet to 8,000. The player in the big blind got out of the way, but Mowery made the call.

Both players chose to check the J79 flop, and when Yamagishi checked for a second time on the J turn, Mowery sensed an opportunity. He placed a bet of 9,500, which was enough to see Yamagishi concede the pot.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Romain Locquet opened from the hijack with 98 and faced a three-bet to 7,600 from Daniel Ivers in the cutoff. Locquet made the call and they went heads-up to the flop.

The 355 flop saw Locquet check, and Ivers continued for 3,500. Locquet called to see a turn.

Safian Fails to Complete his Flush

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After heads-up action was passed to him, Martin Gavasci shoved all in for around 46,000 on a board of 1043Q and a pot of around 16,000 chips. Manuel Safian, in the big blind, made the call, putting himself at risk.

Manuel Safian: Q7 All in
Martin Gavasci: AQ

Both Safian and Gavasci hit the queen on the turn, but Gavasci out kicked the big blind player. Safian, however, had additional outs for a flush draw, which he hoped to complete on the last street.

Unfortunately, the 4 river dropped, sending Safian to hit the rails.

Kochhar Doubles Through Depaulo

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Raghav Kochhar opened to 2,500 first to act and found one caller in Ryan Depaulo, who was on the button.

The flop came Q6J and Kochhar continued for 2,000. Depaulo announced he was all-in and Kochhar snap called all in for 14,300 total.

Ryan Depaulo: 98

Kochhar was in great shape to double with his cowboys, but had a bit of a sweat after the 5 turn gave Depaulo a flush draw in addition to his gutshot straight draw.

However, the 4 river bricked out — leaving Kochhar's kings best for the double-up.

Conrad Improves to a Full House, Scores Double

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After a check, Angelica Faircloth bet almost pot with 12,000 chips on a flop of 97Q and a pot of around 15,000. Her heads-up opponent, Christopher Conrad, jammed in response for around 41,500.

Faircloth went into deep thought. She set aside 41,500 from her chips for a call but continued to mull over the situation. Somewhat hesitantly she called.

Christopher Conrad: 77 All in
Angelica Faircloth: AA

Conrad had caught a set on the flop. Faircloth still had minimal outs but the 9 left her drawing dead as Conrad improved to a full house. The J was a formality.

Conrad scooped the pot for a double-up as Faircloth counted what she had behind.
