Wooden Takes from Andrejevic

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was picked up with Andjelko Andrejevic betting 9,000 into a pot of around 12,000 on a completed board of 48A57. Action was with Charles Wooden who was deep in thought considering his options.

Andrejevic waited patiently until finally Wooden made the call. Andrejevic showed one card 8 which prompted Wooden to show JJ. Andrejevic threw his hand into the muck without showing the other card as the dealer pushed the pot to Wooden.

Mothes Sends Out Staker

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Connor Belcher raised to 2,000 in middle position and Nichlaus Staker in the cutoff three-bet to 8,000. In the small blind, Pierre Mothes raised to 18,500 which saw Belcher fold while Staker moved all in fro 35,000, earning a quick call.

The board ran out 667K3 and the kings up was good to eliminate Staker from the tournament.

Smith Gets Three Streets From Marnell

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Russell Marnell defended his big blind against a cutoff raise by Ryan Smith and check-called the J75 flop for 2,500. On the A turn, the same action repeated for 4,000 and Marnell also paid off 14,000 on the 7 river. Smith tabled the AA for aces full to scoop the pot.

Delval Takes Three-Way Three-Bet Pot

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Frederic Delval raised to 1,700 under the gun. Cheng-Jyun Yang made it 6,200 in the next seat over, which Rajiv Sakaria cold-called in middle position. It folded back to Deval, who called, and Yang called as well.

The trio checked through the 2210 flop, after which Delval bet 5,000 on the 6 turn. Yang made a quick fold, but Sakaria flicked in a call.

The 8 river saw Delval size up to 13,000. After some deliberation, Sakaria called off. Delval showed QQ, and Sakaria's cards hit the muck.

Shinde Barrels Through Sanchez

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Eduardo Sanchez faced a bet of 10,000 by Ryota Shinde on the 10107 flop and opted to call with the pot prior to that already at 29,000. That led them to the 2 turn when a second flush draw opened up. Shinde now made it 40,000 to go and that sent Sanchez deep into the tank before he folded.

Boeree Building Nicely

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was joined on the 10108 flop, and both Elijah Berg from early position and Liv Boeree in late position checked and saw the 3 come on the turn.

Berg checked, and Boeree fired out a bet of 2,500. Berg called, and the dealer peeled off the Q as the river card. Berg checked again, and Boeree fired for 8,000 now. Berg thought for a while and folded his cards, sending the pot to Boeree with no showdown.

Allen Building Stack

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Eric Adelstein, Kevin Allen and Isaac Cramer were in for 3,000 on a flop of A5A

Allen, from the small blind, bet 5,500 on the 9 turn. Only Adelstein, who was on the button, called.

Allen fired 13,000 more chips when the 6 came on the river, and Adelstein quickly folded.

Goldberg Takes an Early Exit

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jonathan Goldberg was all in for his remaining 2,500 chips from under the gun and Taishi Kuzuya raised to 7,000 from middle position. Action folded around the table and Goldberg was at risk for his tournament life after only taking a seat half-way through the first level of the day.

Goldberg was ahead, but Kuzuya flopped well on the 4QK board.

There wasn't any improvement for Goldberg on the J turn or 3 river, and he was eliminated early into the day.

Davidoff Eliminated by Figlesthaler

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Matthew Figlesthaler entered today and immediately started receiving an on-table massage. He raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and Mark Davidoff then jammed for 21,200 in the next seat from the button. Both blinds folded and Matthew Figlesthaler went into the tank for half a minute before he called.

The pocket pair was unable to hold on the AJ2A2 board and Figlesthaler scored the knockout with aces full of deuces.

Where is the Action?

Bradley Wechsler in the big blind checked the action to his opponent Tobias Matuschek, who bet 6,000 on a flop of 57J and a pot of around 13,000. Wechsler called.

On the turn 3, Wechsler went into deep thought. He was taking significant time that Jared Hemingway had to ask, "Where is the action?" After answering the question by raising his hand, Wechsler fired 20,000 into the pot that ended the action with Matuschek folding.
