Lee Survives as Turner Bluffs Into the Side Pot

Sonny Lee had his stack of 7,000 in the middle from the big blind and had to beat three other players to survive.

On the 4♠9♦8♥ flop, all three active players checked to the J♥ turn, where it checked to Jeremie Bilodeau, who bet 10,000. Jon Turner called on the button, and Kyle Babcock folded from the small blind.

A 10♦ completed the board and after Bilodeau checked, Turner fired 20,000. Bilodeau quickly folded.

"You're welcome," said Turner to Lee. "You're still here," he added before he flipped over 6♥5♥ for just six-high. Lee then turned over K♦6♦ for king-high to take the pot.

"Main Event Done": Levy Spikes River to Bust Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu opened to 8,000 in early position and Simon Levy three-bet to 25,000 in the small blind. Negreanu pulled out his selfie stick and said "this means I've decided" before four-bet jamming a stack of 53,000. Levy called.

"Okay, we're ahead," Negreanu said when his opponent turned over ace-queen.

The flop of 4♣8♠K♥ didn't change anything, but the 10♥ turn gave Levy additional outs with a Broadway draw. However, the Q♣ river was all he needed to send the Poker Hall of Famer to the rail.

"Ay ay ay. GG. Main Event done," Negreanu said as he left.

Loni Hui kicked the action off with a raise to 8,000 in middle position. Directly to her left, Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 30,000, leaving a sole 500 chip behind. The play folded back to Hui, who moved all in, and Negreanu called.

"All I have to do is win a flip", said Negreanu.

The flop came down 3♦Q♠7♥, and it was a good start for Negreanu. The turn J♦ and river Q♣ improved him to trips, providing him a double up.
