The End of Bunch

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Sebastien Aube raised on the button to 7,000, and was met by a three-bet from John Bunch in the big blind. Bunch had raised to 23,500, but quickly saw Aube move all in.

Bunch made the call, and as the shorter of the two stacks, with 92,000, he was the player at risk.

John Bunch: 66 All in
Sebastien Aube: AK

The flop 32Q was good for Bunch, but the A turn saw Aube take the lead.

There was no help for Bunch on the 2 river, and he headed to the exit.

Zukowicz Rivers Two Pair in Blind Battle

Level 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

In a blind-versus-blind clash, the board read 655JQ with around 27,000 already in the middle. Nitesh Rawtani checked over to Monika Zukowicz, who fired out a bet of 12,000. Rawtani snap-called, only to be met with bad news.

Zukowicz turned over Q6 for rivered two pair, queens and sixes. Rawtani, clearly frustrated, mucked his hand without showing, and the pot was pushed to Zukowicz.
